Position: Ad Performance Monitoring Specialist

Overview:

The Ad Performance Monitoring Specialist is responsible for tracking the performance of classified ads within the SayPro platform. This includes identifying ads with low performance, analyzing the reasons behind this, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement to ad submitters. This role is crucial for enhancing ad effectiveness and aligning with the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Quarterly Classified Security and Data Protection Management, under the oversight of the SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor Ad Performance Across the Platform

  • Regularly review the performance of classified ads within the SayPro system.
  • Track key performance metrics such as views, clicks, conversion rates, and engagement (e.g., comments, shares).
  • Use analytics tools to identify ads with poor performance compared to platform averages or similar categories.
  • Maintain a performance dashboard for easy reference and reporting.

2. Analyze Performance Data

  • Investigate the underlying factors contributing to low ad performance, including issues with ad copy, images, targeting, or pricing.
  • Analyze audience reach and user behavior to determine if ads are reaching the right target demographic.
  • Assess external factors that could influence ad performance, such as market trends or competition.

3. Provide Recommendations for Ad Optimization

  • For ads with low performance, analyze the data and provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Offer suggestions for improving ad copy, such as making it more compelling or ensuring clarity in messaging.
  • Advise on optimizing visuals, ensuring that images or videos are high quality, relevant, and formatted correctly.
  • Recommend adjustments to ad targeting (e.g., geographic location, keywords, audience demographics) to increase visibility among the right users.
  • Suggest optimal pricing strategies based on competitor analysis and demand trends.
  • Guide ad submitters on using additional features (e.g., premium placement, featured ads) to boost visibility.

4. Communicate Recommendations to Ad Submitters

  • Prepare detailed feedback for ad submitters, offering guidance on how they can improve ad performance.
  • Provide clear explanations and actionable steps in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Offer examples or case studies of high-performing ads to provide context for recommendations.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with ad submitters, answering questions or providing further guidance as necessary.

5. Track the Effectiveness of Recommendations

  • After providing optimization recommendations, track the subsequent performance of the ads.
  • Analyze whether the adjustments resulted in improved performance, and if not, suggest further refinements.
  • Provide regular follow-ups with ad submitters to ensure they are implementing the suggestions and receiving the desired outcomes.

6. Report Performance Insights to Stakeholders

  • Prepare and submit performance reports to the SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
  • Highlight key trends in ad performance across categories, noting any recurring issues or opportunities for platform-wide improvements.
  • Suggest broader changes to platform tools or features that could assist ad submitters in optimizing ad performance.

7. Ensure Ad Performance Optimizations Align with Security Standards

  • Ensure that all ad performance optimizations align with SayPro’s Classified Security and Data Protection Policies, as outlined in the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and SayPro Quarterly Classified Security and Data Protection Management.
  • Verify that sensitive data collected from ad submitters is securely managed, in line with security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in digital advertising, ad performance monitoring, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with ad management platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, internal reporting systems).
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret ad performance data and provide actionable insights.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with ad submitters and explain recommendations clearly.
    • Ability to identify trends, diagnose problems, and offer solutions.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of ad targeting strategies, including keywords, demographic segmentation, and pricing models.
    • Knowledge of security practices related to digital advertising and data protection.
  • Education:
    • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.

  • Ad Performance Improvement:
    • Percentage increase in performance metrics (e.g., clicks, conversions, engagement) for ads after implementing recommendations.
  • Ad Optimization Recommendations:
    • Number of low-performing ads reviewed and provided with recommendations.
  • Ad Submitter Satisfaction:
    • Positive feedback or improved ad performance from ad submitters after implementing changes.
  • Report Accuracy & Timeliness:
    • Timely submission of performance insights and reports to SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
  • Ad Security Compliance:
    • Ensuring recommendations align with SayPro’s security and data protection standards.
