Overview:
The Quality Assurance and Monitoring Specialist is responsible for ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of the location-based search feature within SayPro Classifieds. This feature is integral to the Classifieds platform, allowing users to filter and search ads based on geographic location. The role will involve monitoring the search functionality, identifying technical issues, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the search feature meets SayPro’s quality standards and user expectations. The specialist will support the monthly monitoring and reporting process as part of the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Monitoring of Location-Based Search
- Regularly monitor the performance of the location-based search feature on the SayPro Classifieds platform, ensuring it delivers accurate and timely results based on user inputs (e.g., zip code, city, region).
- Track the functionality and effectiveness of the filter options related to geographic searches to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and document performance issues, user-experience challenges, and any inconsistencies with search results.
- Issue Detection and Resolution
- Proactively detect and troubleshoot technical issues or bugs related to the location-based search functionality, such as broken filters, inaccurate geographic boundaries, or slow response times.
- Coordinate with the development and technical teams to identify root causes and work toward resolving issues.
- Conduct retesting after fixes are applied to ensure the search function is restored to optimal performance.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze search data from the location-based search feature to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the functionality.
- Provide monthly reports as part of the SayPro Monthly SCMR to the SayPro Marketing Royalty team, highlighting issues, performance metrics, and improvements made.
- Offer insights into how the location-based search can be further optimized to enhance the user experience and overall platform performance.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams
- Work closely with the SayPro IT department and developers to escalate urgent issues and participate in brainstorming solutions for technical challenges.
- Provide feedback from users, support teams, and internal stakeholders on areas where improvements or enhancements may be needed.
- User Testing and Feedback
- Conduct regular user testing (including A/B testing where relevant) to validate improvements to the location-based search functionality.
- Gather user feedback on the usability and accuracy of location-based search filters to identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensure that the feature continues to meet user needs and expectations through consistent improvements and updates.
- System Updates and Maintenance
- Stay updated on system changes, platform updates, or any technological advancements that may affect the performance of location-based search features.
- Participate in the maintenance of the classified software, ensuring that updates or patches do not disrupt search functionality.
- Documentation
- Maintain clear documentation of all issues reported, resolved, and in progress for tracking purposes.
