Position Overview:
The Training Specialist will be responsible for preparing training materials and providing instructional support to both internal teams and external users on the effective utilization of the location-based search feature within the SayPro Monthly Classifieds platform. This feature enables users to search and filter classified ads based on geographic location, enhancing the overall user experience and increasing the visibility of relevant ads.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating clear, engaging training content and will be skilled in delivering instructions to varied audiences, including users with varying technical knowledge. This role requires collaboration with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR and SayPro Classified Office teams to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date training resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Training Materials:
- Location-Based Search Feature Overview: Create an in-depth guide on how the location-based search functionality works within the SayPro Monthly Classifieds platform.
- User Guides and Manuals: Prepare step-by-step guides and manuals for end-users, including screenshots, best practices, and troubleshooting tips.
- Interactive Tutorials: Design interactive, engaging tutorials and walkthroughs to demonstrate the feature’s capabilities, aimed at users of all levels.
- FAQs and Knowledge Base Articles: Compile frequently asked questions and solutions into a knowledge base format to assist users in self-service.
- Video Tutorials: Record and edit instructional videos to visually guide users through the process of utilizing the location-based search feature.
- Train Internal Teams:
- Team Workshops and Webinars: Conduct workshops, webinars, and training sessions for SayPro marketing and support teams, ensuring they are proficient in the feature’s functionalities and able to assist users effectively.
- Internal Documentation: Develop training materials for internal team members, focusing on feature updates, handling user queries, and optimizing feature usage within the classified platform.
- User Training and Support:
- Live Training Sessions: Facilitate live, online training sessions for users to walk them through the features, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Onboarding Users: Guide new users through the location-based search setup and usage during their onboarding process, ensuring they understand how to take advantage of this feature.
- User Feedback and Improvement: Collect feedback from users to identify areas of improvement and address common issues or concerns with the feature.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that training materials align with the marketing strategies and that all content is on-brand and relevant.
- Coordinate with Product Development: Collaborate with the SayPro Classified Office and product development teams to stay updated on feature changes, upcoming updates, or enhancements to the location-based search feature.
- Content Updates: Regularly update training materials to reflect any changes or new functionalities added to the location-based search feature.
- Monitor and Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
- Assess Learning Outcomes: Track user engagement with training materials and assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, quizzes, and performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data from user interactions and feedback to continuously improve training materials and delivery methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or similar roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems, classified ad platforms, and location-based search technologies. Experience with SayPro systems or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging written and visual content for diverse audiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, set deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Presentation Skills: Comfortable delivering training to groups, both virtually and in person.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze user needs and design solutions that meet their learning preferences and knowledge levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Video Editing: Familiarity with basic video editing tools to produce polished instructional videos.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience working with LMS platforms to distribute training content.
- Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing principles, particularly in digital advertising, to tailor training materials to business goals.
- Experience with SayPro Systems: Familiarity with SayPro platforms and technologies, including classified ad systems and the marketing features they support.
Work Environment and Conditions:
- Location: Remote, with occasional in-person collaboration or training sessions.
- Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours with occasional weekends or evenings for live training sessions.
- Tools & Equipment: Computer, software for training content creation (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, video editing tools, LMS), and access to SayPro systems for testing.
