SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Monthly Classified Location Based Search: Enable search and filter based on geographic location by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR

Objective:

Collaborate with the design team to finalize the user interface (UI) and ensure an optimal user experience (UX) for the location-based search feature in SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Monthly Classified Location-Based Search. This feature enables users to search and filter classified ads based on geographic location, developed under the SayPro Classified Office and managed by SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. UI/UX Finalization for Location-Based Search

  • Review wireframes and prototypes: Assess current wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to ensure alignment with user needs and SayPro branding guidelines.
  • Improve navigation flow: Ensure the search and filtering options are intuitive and user-friendly, reducing complexity for users.
  • Optimize mobile and desktop responsiveness: Test and refine design elements to ensure a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes.
  • Enhance accessibility features: Ensure the interface meets accessibility standards (e.g., color contrast, text legibility, keyboard navigation).
  • Refine visual elements: Adjust colors, fonts, icons, and button placements to maintain consistency across SayPro platforms.

2. Development and Integration of the Location-Based Search Feature

  • Work with developers to implement UI designs: Ensure the front-end components of the location-based search are accurately coded based on design specifications.
  • Integrate Google Maps or OpenStreetMap APIs: Implement mapping services for users to visually select locations or refine searches.
  • Develop geo-filtering options: Enable users to filter classified ads by city, region, or within a custom radius (e.g., 5km, 10km, 50km).
  • Ensure real-time search updates: Implement AJAX-based filtering to update search results dynamically without reloading the page.
  • Develop location-based auto-suggestions: Enable users to receive real-time suggestions as they type in their location (e.g., using GPS or IP-based detection).

3. Testing and Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Conduct usability testing: Gather feedback from internal users and adjust design and functionality based on insights.
  • Test search accuracy and speed: Ensure that search queries return relevant classified ads without delays.
  • Check compatibility across browsers: Ensure the feature works smoothly on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
  • Fix UI bugs and inconsistencies: Address any design or functional discrepancies before deployment.
  • Run security checks: Ensure user location data is protected and complies with data privacy policies.

4. Documentation and Handover

  • Prepare UI/UX design documentation: Detail all design choices, user flows, and style guides for future reference.
  • Create a testing report: Document all test cases, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
  • Train support teams: Provide necessary training materials to help customer support teams assist users with the new feature.
  • Finalize deployment strategy: Coordinate with the development team to ensure a smooth rollout of the feature.
