SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Monthly Classified Image Optimization: Compress and optimize images for better performance by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR

Objective:

Finalize reports on image optimization results and run performance tests based on the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 for the SayPro Monthly Classified Image Optimization project. The focus is on compressing and optimizing images to enhance performance, managed by the SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.

Task Breakdown for Week 4:

1. Review Previous Work and Results:

  • Objective: Ensure all previous steps in the image optimization process are in place.
    • Review the data gathered on image compression rates, optimization tools used, and previous performance benchmarks.
    • Assess the performance of images that were optimized in the earlier weeks of the project.
    • Ensure all image formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP) have been properly compressed and optimized to the target levels.

2. Run Performance Tests on Optimized Images:

  • Objective: Validate the effectiveness of the image optimization by running performance tests.
    • Task 1:Test Image Load Time:
      • Conduct load time tests for optimized images on the SayPro Classified platform (both desktop and mobile versions).
      • Measure before and after loading times for images that were part of the optimization process.
    • Task 2:Test Site Speed Performance:
      • Run full site speed tests using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or GTMetrix for the classified ads website.
      • Compare performance metrics before and after optimization.
      • Focus on the “First Contentful Paint” (FCP) and “Largest Contentful Paint” (LCP) scores to see if image optimization has improved overall load performance.
    • Task 3:Test User Experience (UX) on Different Devices:
      • Check how the optimized images perform across different devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.
      • Pay particular attention to visual quality and whether images still render correctly after optimization.

3. Finalize Image Optimization Reports:

  • Objective: Prepare a detailed final report on the image optimization process, performance results, and recommendations for further improvements.
    • Task 1:Document Results:
      • Compile the performance test data including load times, site speed improvements, and mobile optimization scores.
      • Document any challenges faced during the optimization process and how they were overcome.
    • Task 2:Highlight Key Metrics:
      • Include charts, graphs, or tables comparing key metrics before and after image optimization (e.g., image file sizes, load times, and page speed scores).
    • Task 3:Assess Visual Quality:
      • Include a section comparing visual quality of images before and after optimization (e.g., compression artifacts, loss of detail).
    • Task 4:Recommendations for Future Optimizations:
      • Identify areas where optimization can be further enhanced, such as exploring next-gen image formats (e.g., AVIF) or utilizing content delivery networks (CDNs) for faster loading.
      • Suggest alternative compression methods or new tools that could improve performance even more.

4. Conduct a Quality Assurance (QA) Review:

  • Objective: Verify that all tasks were completed to a high standard and that the optimizations align with SayPro standards.
    • Task 1:Internal Review Meeting:
      • Hold a meeting with the SayPro Classified Office team to go over the results of the performance tests and the finalized reports.
      • Ensure that all image optimization steps have been implemented successfully and are working as intended.
    • Task 2:External Stakeholder Review:
      • Share the reports with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR and get their feedback.
      • Incorporate any feedback into the final version of the report.

5. Prepare for Deployment:

  • Objective: Ready the optimized images and reports for deployment.
    • Task 1:Backup Optimized Images:
      • Ensure that all optimized images are stored securely and are ready to be uploaded to the live platform.
    • Task 2:Upload Optimized Images to Classified Platform:
      • If applicable, prepare a batch upload or automated process for deploying optimized images to the SayPro Classified website.
    • Task 3:Final Site Testing:
      • Conduct a final round of performance tests to confirm that the image optimization has been successfully applied to the live environment.
    • Task 4:Report Finalization:
      • Ensure the final report is polished and ready for sharing with internal and external stakeholders.

6. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:

  • Objective: Ensure all findings and best practices are documented for future reference.
    • Task 1:Create a Knowledge Base Article:
      • Write a detailed article on the SayPro Classified platform knowledge base, outlining the image optimization process, tools used, and tips for future optimization.
    • Task 2:Train Team Members:
      • Provide a training session for new team members on how to optimize images for the SayPro Classified platform.
      • Share key takeaways and lessons learned from this project.

7. Schedule Follow-Up Meetings:

  • Objective: Organize follow-up sessions to assess long-term performance and continuous improvement.
    • Task 1:Plan Monthly Follow-Up:
      • Schedule a monthly review meeting to assess ongoing image optimization performance and determine if additional optimization steps are required.
    • Task 2:Review Impact on Conversion Rates:
      • Track how the optimization impacts user engagement and conversion rates over the next few weeks. If there are noticeable improvements, document these as additional outcomes of the image optimization efforts.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Final report with comprehensive performance test results and data.
  • Improved website load times, particularly in mobile and desktop environments.
  • Enhanced user experience with optimized image loading.
  • Actionable recommendations for further optimization strategies.

By the end of Week 4, these tasks should be completed, ensuring that the image optimization process is fully implemented and the results are well-documented for future review.
