Objective:
Ensure that users can seamlessly create, edit, and delete ads from their profiles using SayPro’s Monthly Classified system. The functionality should be user-friendly, efficient, and error-free.

Tasks:

  • Identify Testing Scope: Outline key functionalities to be tested (ad creation, editing, and deletion).
  • Test Ad Creation:
    • Verify that users can input details such as title, description, category, images, pricing, and contact details.
    • Ensure that the ad appears in the correct category after submission.
    • Confirm that ad preview and approval processes function as expected.
  • Test Ad Editing:
    • Check if users can modify their ads without errors.
    • Validate that changes are reflected in real-time or after admin approval (if applicable).
  • Test Ad Deletion:
    • Confirm that users can remove their ads easily.
    • Ensure the system prompts users for confirmation before deletion.
    • Verify that deleted ads do not remain visible in search results.
  • Bug Reporting and Fixes: Document issues found, suggest improvements, and coordinate with the development team for resolutions.
  • User Feedback Collection: Gather input from a small test group and implement necessary refinements.
  • Final Testing and Sign-off: Conduct a final test after bug fixes and ensure the system works as intended before launch.

Objective:
Enable users to create and manage profiles seamlessly on the SayPro Monthly Classified platform under the SayPro Classified Office’s supervision.

Tasks:

  • Profile Registration Process:
    • Ensure users can sign up using email, phone number, or social login.
    • Implement verification steps (email or phone OTP).
  • Profile Customization & Management:
    • Allow users to add/edit profile details (name, profile picture, location, contact information).
    • Enable visibility settings for profile information.
  • Ad Linking to Profiles:
    • Ensure ads submitted are automatically linked to user profiles.
    • Allow users to track and manage their active, pending, and expired ads.
  • User Dashboard Testing:
    • Verify that the dashboard displays analytics (views, clicks, inquiries) for posted ads.
    • Check for proper categorization of ads based on active, pending approval, and expired status.
  • Profile Deactivation/Deletion:
    • Ensure users can delete or deactivate their profiles with clear consequences outlined.
    • Implement a confirmation step to avoid accidental deletions.
  • Security & Privacy Measures:
    • Validate encryption of user data.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support & User Guidance:
    • Develop a FAQ/help section for common profile-related queries.
    • Set up a support channel for users needing assistance.
