This job is a part of the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 initiative, specifically focusing on improving SayPro’s Classified URL Structure to optimize both user experience and SEO performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Regular URL Audits:
    • Perform periodic reviews of the classified listings on SayPro’s website to identify URLs that do not align with the standard URL structure or best practices.
    • Identify any URLs that are poorly structured, too generic, or do not accurately represent the content of the classified listing.
    • Flag URLs that need reformatting or redirection to ensure they meet SEO and usability guidelines.
  2. Reformatting and Redirecting URLs:
    • Suggest improvements for URLs that are too long, complex, or unclear.
    • Reformat existing URLs to be clean, concise, and descriptive, ensuring that they reflect the content of the classified ad (e.g., using category names, location, and relevant keywords).

    • Implement 301 redirects for outdated or poorly structured URLs to preserve SEO value and user accessibility.
  3. Collaboration with SEO and Marketing Teams:
    • Work closely with the SEO team to ensure that all URL modifications align with SEO best practices.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that URL changes are communicated and documented for future reference.
    • Provide recommendations on how to structure new ad listings for SEO-friendly URLs before they are published.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain a detailed record of all URLs audited, including the original structure, recommended changes, and implementation status.
    • Provide monthly progress reports to the SayPro Classified Office and Marketing Royalty SCMR teams, highlighting areas of improvement and URLs that have been successfully updated.
    • Create a log of any issues encountered during the auditing process, including any technical constraints or challenges related to URL reformatting and redirection.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends in SEO, website architecture, and URL structure best practices.
    • Propose and implement ongoing improvements to ensure that the classified listings on SayPro’s website remain user-friendly and optimized for search engines.
    • Collaborate with the development team to identify potential automation or tools that can streamline the auditing and reformatting process.
  6. Ensure Compliance with Privacy and Security Standards:
    • Work with the SayPro Classified Office to ensure that any changes made to the URL structure adhere to user privacy policies and do not inadvertently expose sensitive data.
    • Ensure that URLs do not contain unnecessary or potentially sensitive information, such as user personal details or confidential transaction data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
