This role aims to ensure the SayPro classified section is intuitive and optimized for mobile users. You will be tasked with developing and refining touch-friendly interactions such as swipe gestures, drag-and-drop features, and other mobile-specific functionalities, helping to deliver a seamless, engaging, and user-friendly experience on all mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Swipe Gestures:
    • Develop intuitive swipe gestures for mobile users to interact with classified ads, such as swiping left/right to browse through listings or swipe up/down to navigate through categories.
    • Ensure the swipe gestures are smooth, responsive, and user-friendly, taking into account different screen sizes and mobile device orientations.
    • Incorporate swipe actions to streamline tasks like ad submissions, filtering, and navigation.
  2. Enhance Drag-and-Drop Functionality:
    • Implement drag-and-drop features for mobile users, enabling them to easily rearrange listings, categorize ads, or manage ad interactions directly from their mobile devices.
    • Ensure that the drag-and-drop interaction is seamless and efficient, making use of mobile hardware capabilities (such as multi-touch gestures).
  3. Optimize for Mobile-Specific Interactions:
    • Identify and implement additional mobile-specific features such as pinch-to-zoom, tap-to-select, and long press to improve usability and engagement.
    • Ensure all mobile-specific interactions are tested thoroughly for performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across a variety of mobile devices and operating systems.
  4. Responsive Design for Touch-Friendly Interfaces:
    • Design and implement touch-friendly interfaces across the entire SayPro Classified platform, ensuring that buttons, navigation elements, and interactions are appropriately sized and spaced for touch inputs.
    • Collaborate with the design team to maintain a consistent and appealing mobile UI that aligns with the overall brand and user expectations.
    • Focus on minimizing touch target errors and enhancing the overall mobile interface’s ease of use.
  5. Conduct Usability Testing:
    • Lead or assist in usability testing specifically focused on mobile devices to ensure the swipe gestures, drag-and-drop features, and mobile interactions meet the usability and functionality requirements.
    • Gather feedback from real users on mobile and tablet devices and iteratively improve features based on user input.
    • Address any usability issues that arise during testing and work to enhance the overall user experience.
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office, the marketing team, and the development team to ensure the mobile-specific features align with the larger goals of SayPro’s classified platform.
    • Provide technical insights during the development of marketing campaigns that require touch-based interaction features for the classified section.
  7. Monitor Mobile Performance:
    • Analyze the performance of mobile-specific features and gestures and provide recommendations for optimizing the mobile user experience.
    • Troubleshoot and fix any bugs or performance issues related to mobile interactions and touch functionality.
    • Use analytics tools to track mobile user interactions and identify areas for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
