Job Summary:
The SSL Integration Specialist at SayPro Classified Office is responsible for implementing and maintaining SSL certificates to ensure secure data transmission across SayPro’s classified platforms. This role focuses on SSL encryption, TLS security, and HTTPS enforcement, ensuring compliance with SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR security protocols.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in SSL testing tools, certificate lifecycle management, and security best practices. They will work closely with SayPro IT, security teams, and developers to integrate and maintain SSL solutions for SayPro’s classified software.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SSL Certificate Implementation & Management
- Install, configure, and maintain SSL/TLS certificates for SayPro Classified platforms.
- Ensure seamless HTTPS encryption across all classified domains and subdomains.
- Manage SSL certificate renewals, replacements, and revocations to avoid service disruptions.
2. Security Compliance & Testing
- Conduct SSL/TLS vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Utilize SSL testing tools (e.g., SSL Labs, OpenSSL, Qualys SSL Test) to verify encryption strength.
- Ensure compliance with SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SSL Encryption policies.
3. Server & Network Security Enhancement
- Implement HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) and OCSP stapling to enhance security.
- Work with SayPro IT teams to configure SSL/TLS settings on web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS).
- Ensure proper cipher suite selection for maximum security.
4. Troubleshooting & Incident Response
- Diagnose and resolve SSL certificate errors, including chain issues, mismatches, and expired certificates.
- Provide technical support to teams facing SSL-related issues.
- Respond to security incidents related to SSL/TLS breaches and unauthorized access.
5. Documentation & Training
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for SSL configurations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Educate internal teams on SSL best practices and proper certificate management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
✔ Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS encryption protocols and certificate management.
✔ Experience with SSL testing tools (e.g., Qualys SSL Labs, OpenSSL, SSLyze).
✔ Familiarity with SSL certificate providers (e.g., Let’s Encrypt, DigiCert, GlobalSign).
✔ Proficiency in web server configurations for SSL (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS).
✔ Understanding of DNS, firewalls, and load balancers related to SSL security.
✔ Ability to implement HSTS, OCSP stapling, and PFS (Perfect Forward Secrecy).
Soft Skills:
✔ Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting SSL/TLS issues.

Education & Experience:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or IT (Preferred).
📜 Certifications in SSL/TLS security, cybersecurity, or network security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+).
💼 2-3 years of experience in SSL certificate management and web security.
