Job Overview:

The UI and Experience Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing a user-friendly interface for the SayPro Monthly Classified Registration and Login system, ensuring it is intuitive and provides clear instructions for users during the account creation and login process. This role will work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure seamless integration of the registration and login features within the broader system. The goal is to enhance user engagement, streamline the registration process, and ensure a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI Design and Development:
   • Design and develop a clean, intuitive, and user-friendly interface for the registration and login pages.
   • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that visually represent the design and layout of the user interface.
   • Ensure the design adheres to SayPro’s branding guidelines and overall aesthetics.
   • Implement responsive design to ensure compatibility across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
2. User Experience (UX):
   • Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations.
   • Create clear, step-by-step instructions for users on how to create accounts and log in, ensuring the process is simple and straightforward.
   • Design and implement helpful error messages and feedback mechanisms for users when issues occur (e.g., password recovery, invalid inputs).
   • Optimize the registration and login flows for speed, clarity, and efficiency, minimizing friction for users.
3. Collaboration and Integration:
   • Work closely with developers to integrate the UI and UX elements into the SayPro Monthly Classified system, ensuring smooth functionality.
   • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to align the user interface design with marketing objectives and ensure that all features are working as expected.
   • Ensure proper integration of user registration and login data with backend systems, such as user account management and security protocols.
4. Accessibility:
   • Ensure that the registration and login interface meets accessibility standards for users with disabilities (WCAG 2.0 compliance).
   • Implement features like keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and color contrast adjustments.
5. Testing and Optimization:
   • Perform regular testing of the registration and login functionality to identify bugs, usability issues, or inconsistencies.
   • Gather user feedback to continuously improve the registration and login experience.
   • Analyze metrics to track user behavior during the registration and login process, identify drop-offs, and implement strategies to reduce abandonment rates.
6. Security and Compliance:
   • Work with the IT security team to ensure that the registration and login features meet necessary security protocols, such as password encryption, two-factor authentication (if applicable), and secure data handling practices.
   • Ensure that the login process complies with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or other relevant legislation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your skills in web and mobile interfaces.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they relate to UI design.
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and ability to apply them to create engaging and accessible user experiences.
• Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and user feedback collection.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (developers, marketing, IT).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar to monitor user behavior.
• Knowledge of security best practices in user registration and login processes.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
