Job Overview:
The Email and SMS Campaign Specialist is responsible for setting up, managing, and executing email and SMS campaigns that automatically send renewal reminders to advertisers through SayPro’s marketing platform. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth execution of the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Classified Renewal Reminders under the broader SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR initiative. The goal is to maintain and improve customer engagement, ensuring advertisers are reminded of their ad renewals on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Setup and Execution
- Configure Email and SMS Campaigns: Use the SayPro marketing platform to design, set up, and automate email and SMS campaigns specifically for ad renewal reminders.
- Schedule Reminders: Ensure campaigns are set to send automated reminders at the appropriate times (e.g., 30 days before ad expiration, 7 days before, etc.) for the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 classified ad renewal process.
- Personalization: Ensure that the emails and SMS messages are personalized to include key details such as advertiser name, ad ID, and renewal deadline to enhance customer engagement.
2. Campaign Testing and Optimization
- Test Campaigns: Regularly perform A/B testing to determine the most effective subject lines, copy, and call-to-action (CTA) strategies for email and SMS campaigns.
- Optimize Content: Continuously analyze and optimize campaign content to improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall performance based on campaign analytics and feedback.
3. Monitoring and Reporting
- Track Campaign Performance: Monitor the effectiveness of the campaigns, including email open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates, and response rates to ensure successful execution.
- Generate Reports: Provide weekly and monthly reports on campaign performance and results, focusing on renewal reminders sent, renewals completed, and any customer feedback related to the campaigns.
- Identify Issues: Quickly identify and troubleshoot any issues or errors in the campaign setup or execution, such as emails or SMS failing to send.
4. Data Management and Segmentation
- Database Management: Ensure that the advertiser database is up-to-date and segmented appropriately for sending renewal reminders based on the ad’s expiration date.
- Targeting: Utilize SayPro’s CRM or other relevant systems to segment the target audience based on ad renewal timelines, ensuring the right reminder is sent to the right advertiser.
5. Collaboration and Communication
- Work with Marketing Team: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align renewal reminder strategies with other ongoing campaigns or promotions.
- Coordination with Classified Office: Coordinate with the SayPro Classified Office to ensure they provide up-to-date ad renewal details and address any issues raised by advertisers regarding their renewal reminders.
- Customer Support: Provide support to advertisers who have questions or issues related to the renewal reminder campaigns, ensuring clear and prompt communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Marketing Campaigns: Minimum of 2 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, particularly in campaign management, setup, and execution.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp, or equivalent).
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills for creating effective email and SMS content. Comfortable interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when setting up campaigns and managing advertiser data.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities, ensuring all reminders are sent on time and without errors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Classified Ad Campaigns: Knowledge of the classified ad industry and experience with ad renewals is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SayPro Marketing Platform: Previous experience using the SayPro platform is a distinct advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Ad Renewal Rate: Increase in the number of advertisers who renew their ads after receiving reminders.
- Open Rate: Success in getting recipients to open the email/SMS.
- Click-through Rate (CTR): Percentage of recipients who click on renewal-related links in the email/SMS.
- Unsubscribe Rate: Keeping the unsubscribe rate minimal by sending relevant and helpful reminders.
- Error Resolution Time: Speed at which any issues related to the campaigns are identified and resolved.
Working Conditions:
- Work Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed for campaign testing or troubleshooting.
- Environment: Office-based position with the option for remote work based on company policy.
