Position Overview:
The SayPro Classified Rating and Reviews Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the rating and review systems for ads and sellers on the SayPro Classified platform. This role focuses on improving user engagement, encouraging honest feedback, and ensuring the overall functionality and success of the rating and review systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing and product teams to implement strategies that drive user interaction, while also ensuring that the system maintains credibility and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Engagement:
- Encourage Honest Feedback:
Implement strategies to motivate users to leave genuine and constructive feedback on classified ads or sellers. This includes developing campaigns that remind users to rate and review their experiences with ads they’ve interacted with. - Incentivize Participation:
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement incentives (e.g., discounts, promotional offers, loyalty points) to encourage users to submit reviews. Focus on creating incentives that align with the platform’s values and user satisfaction goals. - Monitor User Interactions:
Track and analyze user behavior to identify trends, common feedback issues, or areas for improvement in the review system. Provide regular reports on engagement and sentiment.
2. Rating and Review System Management:
- System Implementation & Enhancement:
Oversee the technical and operational aspects of the rating and review system for classified ads and sellers. Ensure that the system is intuitive, user-friendly, and operational without bugs or glitches. Work with the development team to implement any necessary improvements or updates. - Consistency & Quality Control:
Monitor the quality and authenticity of reviews to ensure that they meet platform guidelines. Implement processes to detect fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate content and take appropriate action to address these issues. - Review Moderation:
Develop and enforce clear guidelines for review moderation. Ensure that all reviews comply with SayPro’s content policies and are reviewed in a timely manner. Establish a team or use automation tools to assist with moderation tasks.
3. User Experience Improvement:
- Feedback Loop Management:
Foster a feedback loop by not only encouraging users to leave reviews but also by ensuring sellers and advertisers respond constructively to feedback. This includes creating mechanisms for sellers to address negative feedback or engage with users publicly. - User Support and Issue Resolution:
Act as a point of contact for users experiencing issues with the review system, offering timely and effective solutions. Provide troubleshooting support, escalating matters as needed. - Continuous Improvement:
Analyze feedback and performance metrics from the review system to identify areas for optimization. Use this data to propose and implement improvements to the user experience, overall system performance, and engagement rates.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaboration with Marketing Team:
Work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to develop campaigns and initiatives that drive engagement with the review system. Provide insights into how user feedback can improve marketing efforts. - Support for Product Development:
Collaborate with the product and development teams to ensure the review system aligns with overall site functionality and product offerings. Provide feedback on potential new features or updates that could enhance the user review experience.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
- Data Tracking & Analysis:
Collect and analyze data related to review and rating submissions, user engagement, and sentiment analysis. Prepare reports on system performance and provide actionable insights to management. - Performance Metrics:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the review system, including participation rates, average review scores, and user satisfaction. Use these metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. - Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing user-generated content, reviews, or ratings systems.
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or community engagement is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM, CMS, and review platform tools (e.g., Trustpilot, Yotpo, etc.) preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and feedback campaigns.
- Analytical skills to track, interpret, and present user engagement and system performance data.
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, especially in incentivizing user actions and engagement.
- Experience with content moderation and customer support strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage cross-functional projects.
