Job Summary

The SayPro Mobile Usability Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the SayPro Classified platform is fully optimized for mobile and touchscreen users. Reporting to the SayPro Classified Office under the SayPro Marketing Royalty division, this specialist leads efforts to analyze, enhance, and implement mobile usability best practices. By focusing on touchscreen accessibility and mobile interaction efficiency, this role ensures that SayPro Monthly Classified services provide a seamless, intuitive, and responsive experience for all users.


Key Responsibilities

1. Implement Optimizations

  • Collaborate with the SayPro design and development teams to apply improvements derived from usability testing and feedback.
  • Translate mobile usability research from SayPro Monthly March SCMR-5 into actionable development changes.
  • Guide interface updates to be fully touchscreen-friendly, including enhancements to menus, buttons, navigation, and ad interaction features.

2. Touchscreen Usability Enhancement

  • Lead initiatives under the SayPro Monthly Classified Touchscreen Usability program.
  • Conduct detailed audits of SayPro’s classified interface to identify pain points in mobile and tablet navigation.
  • Recommend layout changes, gesture integrations, and touch feedback features tailored for smartphones and tablets.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Liaise with UX/UI designers to ensure that mobile-first design principles are followed.
  • Partner with front-end and back-end developers to ensure optimizations do not compromise system performance.
  • Coordinate with content and marketing teams to align user interaction elements with branding guidelines.

4. Testing and Feedback Implementation

  • Develop mobile usability test cases and scripts in collaboration with the QA team.
  • Collect real-world feedback from users engaging with classified ads on mobile platforms.
  • Monitor heatmaps, user flow, and other analytics tools to assess success of implemented changes.

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all mobile usability improvements and deployment cycles.
  • Provide monthly performance reports tied to mobile optimization metrics.
  • Contribute to SayPro Monthly Mobile Usability reviews, highlighting key achievements, blockers, and new proposals.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Mobile Usability Expertise: Deep knowledge of mobile-first design, touchscreen interaction, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Technical Fluency: Familiarity with HTML/CSS, responsive design frameworks, and mobile testing tools.
  • UX/UI Understanding: Ability to work closely with design professionals and understand interface layout principles.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret analytics and A/B testing results to inform UI/UX decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Capable of translating technical improvements into business language for stakeholder reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile UX design, usability testing, or front-end optimization roles.
  • Experience with classified ad platforms, digital marketing tools, or mobile app development is a plus.
  • Proven record of touchscreen optimization work or responsive design projects.
