Job Summary:

The SayPro Quarterly Classified Content Manager is responsible for organizing, categorizing, and maintaining classified listings on SayPro’s digital platforms. The role ensures that classified content is well-structured, accurately categorized, and easily searchable by users. Working under SayPro Marketing Royalty (SCMR), the position plays a critical role in maintaining a high-quality classified ad platform that enhances user engagement, accessibility, and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Organizing and Categorizing Classified Listings

  • Classify and organize all classified listings by category, such as real estate, jobs, services, events, announcements, and products.
  • Ensure all listings are correctly tagged, formatted, and labeled for easy filtering.
  • Apply standard SEO best practices to enhance searchability within SayPro’s classified platform.
  • Implement and update classification guidelines to maintain uniformity across all listings.

2. Content Management and Quality Control

  • Review submitted classified ads to ensure they comply with SayPro’s content policies and terms of service.
  • Edit or reject listings that contain inappropriate, misleading, or incomplete information.
  • Optimize classified content by enhancing descriptions, formatting, and adding relevant keywords.
  • Ensure all expired listings are archived, removed, or renewed accordingly.

3. User Support and Engagement

  • Assist users and advertisers in submitting and managing their classified ads.
  • Provide guidance and best practices on writing effective classified listings.
  • Respond to queries, complaints, and listing-related issues in a timely manner.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics related to classified listing engagement (e.g., views, clicks, conversions).
  • Generate quarterly reports on classified content trends, user behavior, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance classified listing performance and user experience.

5. System and Platform Optimization

  • Collaborate with the SayPro IT team to improve the classified listing system by suggesting enhancements.
  • Work with SayPro developers to ensure that filtering, search, and navigation features are optimized.
  • Identify technical issues or bugs and report them for resolution.

6. Marketing and Promotions Support

  • Work with the SayPro Marketing team to promote featured classified listings.
  • Assist in developing classified-related campaigns and social media promotions.
  • Ensure classified listings align with SayPro’s branding and marketing strategy.

7. Compliance and Ethical Standards

  • Ensure all classified content adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Monitor classified listings for fraudulent activities, spam, or misleading advertisements.
  • Take necessary action against violations of SayPro’s classified listing policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, IT, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in classified content management, digital marketing, or online marketplace administration.
  • Previous experience in content moderation, SEO, or customer support is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, or other classified ad software).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for classified listings.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web formatting.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web performance tracking tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
