Role Overview

The SayPro Quarterly Classified Pricing and Subscription Models Management – Market Research and Analysis position is responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform SayPro’s pricing and subscription strategies. This role involves evaluating industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer behaviors to ensure that SayPro’s classified platform remains competitive, sustainable, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Industry Trend Analysis

  • Conduct detailed market research to analyze classified ad pricing models, trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Identify and assess the pricing strategies of key competitors in the classified advertising industry.
  • Evaluate market demand, emerging pricing innovations, and consumer expectations regarding subscription-based models.
  • Track industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting classified advertising.
  • Collaborate with internal and external data sources to ensure accurate market insights.

2. Competitor Pricing & Subscription Model Analysis

  • Benchmark SayPro’s pricing and subscription plans against leading classified ad platforms.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the current SayPro pricing model.
  • Conduct pricing elasticity studies to determine optimal pricing points for different customer segments.
  • Assess competitor discount strategies, promotional offers, and long-term pricing shifts.

3. Customer & User Behavior Analysis

  • Gather and analyze customer data to understand preferences, pain points, and willingness to pay.
  • Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gain direct insights from SayPro users.
  • Work with the Customer Support and Sales teams to identify pricing-related concerns and feedback.

4. Subscription Model Optimization

  • Recommend pricing adjustments and subscription plan modifications based on market research.
  • Propose tiered subscription structures to cater to diverse customer needs (e.g., basic, premium, enterprise).
  • Evaluate the impact of freemium models, trial periods, and value-added services on customer retention.
  • Identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities within SayPro’s classified ad offerings.

5. Reporting & Strategic Recommendations

  • Compile quarterly research reports detailing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer insights.
  • Present actionable recommendations to the SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented pricing strategies and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Prepare financial impact assessments and forecasting reports for pricing changes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in Market Research, Data Analytics, or Pricing Strategy preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in market research, pricing analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working in classified advertising, e-commerce, or digital marketplaces is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis and market research tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of pricing models and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable business insights.
  • Familiarity with CRM and subscription management software.
