Position Overview:
The SayPro Quarterly Classified Pricing and Subscription Models Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management, analysis, and optimization of subscription pricing and models for SayPro’s classified advertising platform. This role will focus on using data analytics tools to assess user engagement, conversion rates, and the overall performance of existing pricing and subscription strategies. The insights derived will directly influence adjustments to pricing structures, subscription offerings, and retention strategies, with a goal of enhancing sales performance and improving user satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze Subscription Data:
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, etc.) to evaluate subscription data, user behaviors, conversion rates, and trends.
- Perform detailed analysis of the existing pricing structures, identifying any inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Track user engagement metrics, such as sign-up rates, retention rates, and subscription upgrades/downgrades, to assess the performance of current models.
- Conduct A/B testing of pricing strategies and subscription tiers to determine the most effective pricing and user retention tactics.
2. Monitor Pricing and Subscription Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor pricing models for classified platforms.
- Regularly monitor market conditions, user feedback, and competitor offerings to keep the pricing model competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand user demographics and tailor pricing models to meet the needs of different user segments.
3. Report and Provide Insights:
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports on pricing performance, subscription model success, and user engagement metrics.
- Present findings and insights to management, including recommendations for adjustments based on data analysis.
- Provide regular feedback to the product team regarding potential pricing strategy adjustments or new subscription model offerings based on customer feedback and data-driven insights.
4. Adjust Pricing and Subscription Models:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to recommend changes to pricing tiers, discounts, promotions, and subscription features that would enhance sales performance and user retention.
- Implement dynamic pricing adjustments, where applicable, to optimize revenue while ensuring a positive user experience.
- Oversee the integration and communication of any pricing or subscription changes within the SayPro Classified platform, ensuring a smooth transition for users.
5. Work Cross-Functionally with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team, product managers, and the finance department to ensure pricing and subscription models are aligned with the overall business strategy and financial goals.
- Coordinate with the user support team to understand pain points related to pricing and subscription issues, providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
6. Improve User Retention:
- Use data to identify at-risk customers and propose retention strategies to improve subscription renewals and reduce churn.
- Implement promotional strategies such as discounts, loyalty programs, and upsell opportunities to increase subscription value for users.
7. Quarterly Review and Strategy Planning:
- Lead the quarterly review process to assess the performance of the current pricing and subscription models.
- Based on insights and market conditions, contribute to the development of new strategies or model adjustments to improve overall sales and user retention for the next quarter.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is a plus, but not required.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in pricing strategy, subscription models, or data analytics within the digital marketing or SaaS industries.
- Strong background in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Excel) to drive business decisions.
- Proven track record of improving user engagement, retention, and sales through data-driven insights.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent knowledge of subscription-based pricing strategies and best practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to management and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in using advanced data analytics tools and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with marketing automation software, customer data platforms (CDPs), and subscription management platforms.
