1. Introduction

This document presents the results of an A/B testing experiment conducted to evaluate different pricing and subscription models for SayPro’s classified platform. The goal of the A/B test was to assess how different pricing strategies impact customer engagement, conversion rates, and subscription renewals.

The experiment was conducted by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR as part of the SayPro Quarterly Classified Pricing and Subscription Models Management Initiative.


2. Objectives of the A/B Testing

The primary objectives of the A/B test were:

  1. Evaluate Conversion Rates: Determine which pricing and subscription model leads to higher conversions.
  2. Customer Retention & Renewal: Assess the impact of different pricing structures on customer retention and renewal rates.
  3. Revenue Optimization: Identify the model that maximizes revenue without negatively affecting user engagement.
  4. Customer Feedback & Satisfaction: Collect qualitative feedback from users to understand preferences and potential pain points.

3. A/B Testing Methodology

3.1 Test Design & Setup

  • The A/B test was conducted over a 3-month period (October – December 2024).
  • Two groups of users were randomly assigned:
    • Group A: Exposed to Pricing Model A (Flat Monthly Subscription Fee).
    • Group B: Exposed to Pricing Model B (Pay-Per-Listing + Subscription Option).
  • The test was conducted across multiple user segments, including:
    • New Users (First-time customers)
    • Returning Customers (Users who previously subscribed)
    • Enterprise Clients (Business users with multiple listings)

3.2 Pricing Models Tested

Pricing Model A: Flat Monthly Subscription

  • Users pay a fixed monthly fee for unlimited classified ad postings.
  • Includes premium listing placement and visibility enhancements.
  • No additional per-listing fee.

Pricing Model B: Pay-Per-Listing + Subscription Option

  • Users can choose between a pay
