Job Purpose
The Ad Approval and Moderation Specialist is responsible for reviewing, approving, or rejecting classified ads submitted to SayPro’s platform. This role ensures that all ads comply with company policies, security standards, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining a seamless user experience.
By enforcing classified security and data protection management protocols, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that SayPro remains a trusted platform for classified listings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure Timely Moderation of Ads
- Approve or reject ads within the specified moderation time frame to ensure a smooth posting experience.
- Monitor the moderation queue to prevent delays and avoid a backlog of pending ads.
- Maintain an efficient workflow to process all ads promptly without compromising accuracy.
2. Review Ads for Compliance
- Check ad content for compliance with SayPro’s policies, including prohibited items, restricted categories, and misleading claims.
- Ensure ads meet quality standards, including clear images, accurate descriptions, and appropriate pricing.
- Verify that ads comply with SayPro Classified Security and Data Protection Management standards, ensuring that no sensitive data is shared inappropriately.
3. Approve or Reject Ads Based on Set Criteria
- Approve ads that meet SayPro’s content guidelines and security requirements.
- Reject ads that violate policies, providing clear reasons for rejection and guidance for resubmission.
- Use a standardized rejection template to inform users why their ad was not approved.
- Implement automated filters and AI moderation tools to speed up the approval process.
4. Maintain Platform Security & Prevent Fraudulent Listings
- Identify and remove scam ads, fraudulent listings, and spam submissions.
- Work closely with the SayPro Security Team to track and report fraudulent users or suspicious activities.
- Use IP tracking, AI-powered fraud detection, and manual review to verify high-risk ads.
- Ensure that all approved ads align with SayPro Quarterly Classified Security guidelines.
5. Monitor and Improve Ad Moderation Processes
- Track key performance metrics such as ad approval rates, rejection reasons, and user feedback.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the moderation process.
- Keep up-to-date with new compliance regulations and security updates to adapt moderation policies accordingly.
6. Provide User Support and Communication
- Respond to user inquiries regarding ad approvals and rejections, clarifying any questions.
- Offer guidance on ad improvements, helping users modify and resubmit rejected ads.
- Work with the customer support team to handle disputes or escalations related to ad moderation decisions.
7. Maintain Documentation and Reports
- Keep detailed records of approved and rejected ads, including reasons for rejection.
- Generate reports for the SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to monitor platform trends and security threats.
- Document policy updates and training materials to ensure consistency across the moderation team.

Qualifications & Skills Required
- Experience in content moderation, digital advertising, or online classified platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ad review policies, online security, and fraud detection.
- Ability to analyze ad content quickly and make sound decisions.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot policy violations and security risks.
- Proficiency with moderation tools, AI-based fraud detection, and CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with users and internal teams.
Work Schedule & Reporting
- Full-time position with shift-based moderation to ensure 24/7 ad review.
- Weekly reports submitted to SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
- Collaboration with Security and IT teams for fraud prevention and classified data protection.
