Role Overview:

The Ad Quality Control role is essential in maintaining the visual and professional standards of all classified ads on the SayPro platform. This position ensures that all advertisements align with SayPro’s brand guidelines, aesthetic expectations, and platform requirements. Ad Quality Control plays a crucial part in providing a seamless and visually appealing user experience, contributing to the overall success of SayPro’s classified advertising ecosystem.

The role is specifically aligned with SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and the SayPro Quarterly Classified Security and Data Protection Management, overseen by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

1. Visual Consistency:

Goal: Ensure that all ads meet the aesthetic standards of SayPro’s platform, ensuring they are visually appealing, consistent, and professional.

Tasks:

  • Review Ad Submissions: Check that every classified ad submitted by users adheres to SayPro’s visual and branding guidelines.
  • Verify Image Quality: Ensure that images used in ads are high-resolution, clear, and of professional quality. Flag any low-quality images that may not represent SayPro’s standards.
  • Check for Uniform Layouts: Ensure that ads are formatted correctly, maintaining consistency in text placement, image positioning, and overall design. Verify that all text is readable and that font choices align with SayPro’s style guide.
  • Assess Color Schemes: Ensure that color choices in ads do not clash with SayPro’s platform design, maintaining a visually cohesive look across the site.
  • Verify Ad Titles and Descriptions: Check that titles and descriptions are clear, accurate, and appropriately formatted, in line with SayPro’s writing standards.
  • Flag Violations: Identify and report ads that do not meet SayPro’s visual standards or contain inappropriate or misleading content, such as irrelevant images or excessive use of text.

2. Ensuring Platform Compatibility:

Goal: Ensure all ads display properly across different devices and screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop) for optimal user experience.

Tasks:

  • Test Ads on Different Devices: Check that all ads are fully functional and visually appealing on various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
  • Responsive Layouts: Ensure that ad layouts adjust correctly to different screen sizes and orientations (portrait, landscape).
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure that ads are compatible with different web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.), and resolve any inconsistencies.

3. Content Moderation:

Goal: Ensure that all ads maintain a professional and safe environment for SayPro users by meeting content guidelines.

Tasks:

  • Ad Content Review: Assess that ad content, including titles, descriptions, and images, does not violate SayPro’s content policy (e.g., no offensive or inappropriate materials).
  • Check for Copyright Violations: Ensure that images, text, or logos used in the ads are not violating copyright laws.
  • Monitor Ad Trends: Keep an eye on trends in user-generated ads to identify common issues or patterns that need to be addressed proactively.
  • Report Violations: If an ad violates SayPro’s content or design policies, ensure it is flagged for review or removal by the appropriate team.

4. Brand Alignment:

Goal: Ensure that all ads remain in alignment with SayPro’s overall brand identity and messaging.

Tasks:

  • Verify Ad Branding: Ensure that each ad follows SayPro’s branding guidelines in terms of visual design, tone of voice, and messaging.
  • Maintain Visual Tone: Ensure that ad content aligns with SayPro’s professional image, with a focus on clarity and user-friendliness.
  • Evaluate Consistency Across Categories: Ensure that ads across various categories (e.g., Apparel, Announcements, Classifieds) adhere to the same standards of visual appeal and professionalism.

5. User Feedback and Ad Optimization:

Goal: Improve the quality of ads by continuously gathering feedback from users and stakeholders.

Tasks:

  • Analyze User Feedback: Review feedback from users regarding the clarity and visual appeal of ads, and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Advertisers: Work with advertisers to ensure that they understand SayPro’s standards for ad quality and provide guidance on improving the appearance of their ads.
  • Optimize Ad Guidelines: Update and refine ad submission guidelines as necessary to reflect changes in SayPro’s platform, user expectations, or industry trends.
  • Track Ad Performance: Monitor the performance of ads in terms of user engagement and visibility, identifying any areas for improvement in ad design or format.

6. Report and Document Ad Quality Control Process:

Goal: Maintain thorough documentation of ad quality control processes and flagging procedures to ensure accountability.

Tasks:

  • Maintain Records of Flagged Ads: Keep a detailed log of ads that have been flagged for quality issues or violations, and document corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate weekly or monthly reports summarizing ad quality trends, common issues, and suggestions for improving ad standards.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Share insights with the SayPro Classified Office and marketing teams to ensure all ads meet brand and security expectations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every ad is up to standard in terms of design, content, and professionalism.
  • Strong Visual Design Understanding: Knowledge of design principles and familiarity with tools like Photoshop, Canva, or other design software.
