Key Responsibilities

1. Research and Identify Suitable Mapping Tools

• Conduct market research on various mapping tools available, such as:
  • Google Maps API (for real-time location services and street views)
  • Mapbox (for customizable maps with high visual appeal)
  • OpenStreetMap (OSM) (for free and community-driven map services)
  • Other relevant GIS (Geographic Information System) and mapping technologies
• Compare the features, costs, scalability, and integration capabilities of these mapping tools.
• Prepare a comparative analysis report, highlighting the pros and cons of each tool.

2. Assess Compatibility with SayPro Classifieds Platform

• Evaluate the compatibility of the selected mapping tools with SayPro’s Classified Ads Software and existing tech stack.
• Check for API documentation, integration guides, and plugin availability to ensure smooth incorporation.
• Identify potential technical challenges and propose solutions.

3. Recommend the Best Mapping Tool for Integration

• Select the most suitable mapping tool based on the analysis.
• Justify the recommendation with a well-structured report, including:
  • Cost-effectiveness
  • User experience (ease of navigation, accuracy, and responsiveness)
  • Scalability for future enhancements
• Present findings to the SayPro Classified Office for approval.

4. Assist in Initial Setup and Configuration

• Collaborate with SayPro developers to test API integration.
• Ensure proper geolocation tagging for classified ad locations.
• Assist in setting up map customization features (e.g., marker icons, zoom levels, map themes).

5. Documentation and Training Support

• Document the integration process, API keys, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide a short training session or user guide to SayPro Classified Office team members on using the selected mapping tool.
