SayPro Participants – Key Responsibilities for Monitoring and Maintaining Map Functionality

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the participant is to ensure the proper functioning of map integration within the SayPro Classified platform. This includes troubleshooting, maintaining, and updating the map feature to display ad locations accurately and in real-time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

• Identify and fix any issues related to map display, including incorrect marker placements or missing locations.
• Resolve problems related to broken map functionalities, such as zooming, panning, or loading failures.
• Diagnose and correct errors in API integrations between classified ads and the map system.

2. Real-Time Updates and Synchronization

• Ensure that classified ads’ locations are accurately updated on the map in real-time.
• Verify that newly posted ads appear instantly with correct geolocation data.
• Maintain seamless synchronization between ad listings and the map database.

3. Enhancing User Experience

• Improve map interaction features, such as filtering by category, location, or ad type.
• Optimize map performance for smooth navigation across devices (mobile and desktop).
• Enhance user accessibility by implementing intuitive design elements like search functionality and clustering for high-density areas.

4. Integration and Maintenance

• Work with SayPro Monthly Classified Office to integrate maps with ad listing systems.
• Ensure API keys, plugins, and third-party services used for map integration remain active and functional.
• Test and update mapping software in response to platform upgrades or changes.

5. Reporting and Documentation

• Document troubleshooting steps and common issues encountered for future reference.
• Provide regular reports to SayPro Classified Office on performance, issues, and user feedback regarding map functionality.
• Suggest improvements and new features to enhance map usability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic knowledge of web-based map APIs (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, etc.).
• Familiarity with classified ad management and location-based services.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team.
• Attention to detail in verifying location accuracy and real-time updates.
