Objective:
The objective of this activity is to collaborate with UI/UX designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface for the location-based search feature within the SayPro Classified platform. This feature is aimed at enabling users to search and filter classified ads based on geographic location, which will enhance the overall user experience and support SayPro’s marketing objectives under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR initiative.
Scope of Work:
The primary task of this project is to design and implement a seamless user interface (UI) that allows users to easily search for classified ads based on their geographic location. The feature will be integrated into the SayPro Classified platform and must work efficiently across various devices and screen sizes, ensuring an optimized user experience (UX).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with UI/UX Designers:
- Planning & Strategy: Work with the UI/UX design team to understand the goals of the location-based search feature. Discuss user personas, use cases, and customer feedback to shape the feature’s design and functionality.
- User Journey Mapping: Collaborate to create detailed user journey maps for the location-based search feature, ensuring that it addresses users’ needs effectively and seamlessly.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Assist in the development of wireframes and prototypes that visually represent the location-based search functionality. These should reflect intuitive navigation, with a clear visual structure for the search bar, location filters, and search results.
- Location-Based Search Design:
- User Interface (UI) Design: Work with the UI team to design the search input interface, including fields for entering location details (such as city, state, zip code, or using geolocation for automatic detection).
- Geographic Filter Options: Implement an interface for users to filter classified ads based on distance or specific location parameters (e.g., within a 10-mile radius).
- Search Results Display: Design the layout and sorting of results to ensure they are easily readable and sortable by relevance, proximity, and other key factors. This may involve the integration of maps or location pins for visual reference.
