Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to handle the documentation and training for the development and integration of the SayPro Monthly Classified Location-Based Search feature. This feature enables users to search and filter classified ads based on geographic locations, offering enhanced functionality within SayPro’s marketing strategy. The role involves detailed documentation of the development process and the creation of training materials to support internal teams in understanding, deploying, and utilizing this new feature.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation Creation and Maintenance:
    • Document the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 development and integration process in a structured format.
    • Ensure that all technical details, workflows, and configurations related to the Location-Based Search feature are well-documented, including any backend adjustments, API integrations, and user-interface updates.
    • Create comprehensive user manuals and internal documentation guides that detail how to configure and use the new location-based search functionalities in classified ads.
    • Document any troubleshooting steps, known issues, and resolutions, offering solutions to internal teams for easier problem-solving.
    • Update existing documentation to reflect changes and improvements made during the development and integration phases.
    • Maintain version control for documentation and ensure it is consistently aligned with the latest updates and releases.
  • Training Material Creation:
    • Develop training materials, such as presentations, instructional videos, and step-by-step guides, to teach the internal teams how to use the new SayPro Monthly Classified Location-Based Search feature.
    • Create training manuals for relevant teams, such as developers, marketing staff, and customer support agents, explaining how the feature works and how it enhances user experience.
    • Create training modules for end users to guide them in navigating the new search filters effectively.
    • Design interactive tutorials or workshops that allow users to practice using the new location-based search function, simulating real-world use cases.
  • Internal Communication and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the SayPro Development team to gather technical insights and data necessary for the documentation process.
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure the feature aligns with the broader marketing goals.
    • Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure that the documentation and training materials reflect the latest product developments and best practices.
    • Regularly update teams about new features, fixes, and updates related to location-based search capabilities.
  • Training and Support for Internal Teams:
    • Provide live trainings and webinars to ensure that all stakeholders understand how to implement, manage, and leverage the location-based search effectively within the classified ads platform.
    • Offer post-training support by answering questions and providing clarifications on the use of the feature.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training materials and sessions and make adjustments as needed to improve comprehension and engagement.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure that all documentation and training materials comply with internal standards and guidelines for quality and accuracy.
    • Track and report the effectiveness of training efforts and the usage rate of the new feature within the organization, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in documentation and technical writing, with a focus on software or technology products.
  • Understanding of location-based search functionality in web applications and its integration into existing software systems.
  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts into easily digestible and clear training materials.
  • Familiarity with SayPro Classified Systems or similar classified ad platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), and tools like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, or similar platforms for documentation.
  • Familiarity with training software or platforms to deliver effective training sessions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within the marketing or software development field, particularly with classified ad platforms or eCommerce systems.
  • Background in training design, including creating interactive materials for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing professionals.

Job Type

  • Full-time
  • Location: Remote or based at SayPro’s headquarters, depending on the preferred location of the candidate.
