Job Summary
As an Ad Localization Specialist at SayPro, you will play a pivotal role in tailoring classified ad content to specific user locations. By leveraging SayPro’s cutting-edge geolocation technology, your work will ensure that ads are localized, relevant, and customized based on the user’s geographic region. You will collaborate closely with the classified ads team and marketing department to enhance user engagement by serving region-specific content. This position supports the SayPro Monthly SCMR-5 initiative focused on localized ad delivery via SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
Key Responsibilities
- Geolocation Integration and Content Localization
- Utilize SayPro’s Monthly January SCMR-5 geolocation features to automatically detect user locations.
- Work alongside the classified ads team to localize ad content based on the user’s geographic data. This includes adjusting language, regional preferences, pricing, and relevant products/services.
- Ensure all classified ad content is accurately adapted to suit local cultural nuances and compliance with regional regulations.
- Content Collaboration and Customization
- Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing and Classified Ads teams to ensure alignment with the overall strategy for localized content.
- Customize ad templates based on detected location, including adjustments for seasonal promotions, local events, or region-specific product/service offerings.
- Create and maintain a database of region-specific keywords, phrases, and cultural nuances to be used in ad copy.
- Geolocation Data Management
- Maintain and update geolocation tracking to ensure that accurate, up-to-date location information is used for ad targeting.
- Regularly analyze geolocation data for accuracy and effectiveness in improving ad engagement based on location.
- Troubleshoot any discrepancies in location detection and work with the tech team to resolve issues promptly.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor ad performance across different regions and analyze how location-based localization affects user engagement, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Work closely with the analytics team to generate reports on the success of localized ad strategies and implement improvements as needed.
- Suggest improvements for the localization process, such as new tools, ad formats, or geolocation strategies.
- Market Research
- Conduct research on different regional markets to ensure ad content resonates with local tastes, trends, and language preferences.
- Stay up to date with regional market conditions and competitor activities to adjust ad content accordingly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ad localization, content management, or digital marketing, preferably in classified ads or e-commerce.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with geolocation technology and experience in using tools to detect and adapt content based on location. Knowledge of geo-targeting and localization strategies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft regionally specific content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to adapt content to reflect regional differences in language, culture, and preferences, while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including marketing, content creation, and technical departments.
- Analytical Skills: Experience in tracking and analyzing the performance of localized content to improve ad targeting and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Working Conditions
- This is a remote position with flexible hours, but the candidate must be available for team meetings and collaboration during standard office hours.
