SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Monthly Classified Custom Locations: Allow users to specify custom locations for their ads by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Development and Enhancement:

  • Feature Development:
    The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and implement a new feature within the SayPro Classified platform that allows users to select custom locations for their ads. This feature will enable users to specify precise geographic locations (e.g., city, region, neighborhood) where their classified ads will be displayed. The system must allow users to enter custom location data via a user-friendly interface, ensuring ease of use and accuracy.
  • Custom Location Integration:
    Work closely with the SayPro Classified platform team to integrate the custom location feature seamlessly into the current system architecture. Ensure that this feature is scalable, flexible, and compatible with both current and future versions of the platform.
  • Location Selection Process Design:
    Develop a streamlined process for users to input their preferred locations. This should include an easy-to-use interface, where users can manually enter locations or select from a pre-populated list of available regions, cities, or areas. Additionally, the feature should support auto-completion, dropdown lists, or a map-based interface to improve user experience.
  • Location Data Management:
    Ensure that the custom location data entered by users is accurately stored and processed within the system. Implement robust data validation techniques to prevent errors and inaccuracies in location entry. Integrate the custom location data into the back-end database to ensure efficient retrieval and management.
  • User Experience (UX) Optimization:
    Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to enhance the interface where users select their ad locations. The goal is to create an intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly experience. Conduct user testing to gather feedback and make continuous improvements to the user interface and overall user flow.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    Responsible for thoroughly testing the new location selection feature to ensure it works as intended across all supported browsers and devices. Debug any issues that arise, particularly with location data input, and optimize for performance.
  • Documentation and Training:
    Create detailed technical documentation for the custom location feature, outlining how the feature is built, its system requirements, and usage guidelines. This documentation will assist other team members, such as those in marketing or customer support, in understanding how the feature works and how to address any user inquiries or issues.
  • Ongoing Maintenance and Updates:
    Provide ongoing support for the location selection feature, addressing any issues that arise post-launch. As new locations or geographic data are introduced, ensure that the feature can adapt without requiring significant redevelopment. Perform regular system updates and enhancements to ensure the feature continues to meet evolving user needs.

2. Collaboration with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR:

  • Feature Alignment with Marketing Needs:
    Work in tandem with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that the custom location feature meets the strategic marketing goals. Understand how specific locations affect ad targeting and develop features that help improve user targeting based on location preferences.
  • Custom Location Data Usage:
    Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage custom location data in promotional campaigns and enhance ad targeting within the SayPro Classified system. Ensure that location-based targeting aligns with customer segmentation and ad performance optimization.

3. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:

  • Performance Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor the performance of the custom location feature. Ensure that it operates smoothly under high traffic conditions, and quickly respond to any technical issues that may impact its performance.
  • Bug Fixing and Iterations:
    Address any bugs or issues related to the location feature, ensuring that the system remains stable and accurate for all users. Apply best practices in debugging and version control to minimize disruptions in service.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with Database Administrators (DBA):
    Collaborate with database administrators to ensure that the custom location feature integrates efficiently with the SayPro Classified database. Ensure that location data is well-indexed and searchable.
  • Work with Front-End Developers:
    Coordinate with front-end developers to ensure that the user interface for location selection is optimized for performance and usability.
  • Work with Back-End Developers:
    Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure that the custom location data is processed and retrieved efficiently from the server, and that the system can scale to accommodate large volumes of location data.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with backend technologies (e.g., PHP, MySQL, Node.js). Proficiency in API integration and database management is essential.
  • Experience:
    Proven experience in developing and maintaining web-based systems or features, particularly location-based functionality.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems related to user input, location data management, and system integration.
  • Communication:
    Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting processes clearly.
