SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Monthly Classified Image Optimization: Compress and optimize images for better performance by SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR

Objective:

The objective for this quarter is to reduce the average image load time on SayPro’s website by 20%. This will help improve the overall user experience, enhance website performance, and contribute to higher search engine rankings due to faster page load times.

Target Description:

Target Name:
Reduce the Average Image Load Time by 20%

Current Performance:
The current average image load time, based on SayPro’s monthly SCMR (Site Content and Marketing Report) for January, is tracked and analyzed to understand current image load time trends.

Goal for the Quarter:
To reduce the image load time by 20% from the current benchmark as specified in SayPro’s Monthly SCMR-5.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  • Current Image Load Time (January SCMR-5): 3.5 seconds (benchmark).
  • Target Image Load Time: 2.8 seconds.
  • Percentage Improvement Target: 20%.

Strategic Approach:

  1. Image Optimization Techniques: To achieve this target, SayPro will need to focus on compressing and optimizing the images across the website. Image size reduction can lead to faster loading times without compromising visual quality. Methods to Implement:
    • Compression: Apply lossless or lossy compression techniques to reduce image file size.
    • Image Format Conversion: Utilize newer formats like WebP, which offer smaller file sizes without sacrificing image quality.
    • Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images so that images are only loaded as they are about to enter the user’s viewport.
    • Responsive Images: Use responsive image techniques like srcset to serve images based on the device’s screen size and resolution, reducing unnecessary image data.
    • CDN (Content Delivery Network): Utilize a CDN for faster image loading by serving images from servers geographically closer to the user.
    • Image Dimensions: Ensure that the images are not larger than necessary by resizing them to fit the display area.
  2. Monitoring and Measurement Tools:
    • Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Pingdom to measure current image load times and track progress toward the 20% reduction.
    • SayPro SCMR will also include monthly tracking to assess improvements and areas needing further optimization.
