Job Title: Employee Training and Awareness Specialist

Position Overview:
The Employee Training and Awareness Specialist will be responsible for conducting training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs aimed at ensuring employees are informed and compliant with the latest privacy regulations and best practices in the handling of user data. This role is critical in maintaining SayPro’s commitment to user data privacy while aligning with the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 guidelines, particularly with the SayPro Monthly Classified User Privacy initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Design, develop, and deliver training materials on data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Ensure training materials align with SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and are updated regularly to reflect changes in global privacy regulations.
- Create customized content that addresses the needs of different departments (e.g., Marketing, IT, Customer Service) while focusing on user data privacy.
- Employee Training:
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and ongoing employee education programs.
- Provide guidance on SayPro’s data handling protocols, user privacy policies, and the significance of compliance with local and international privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Organize monthly webinars or workshops to keep employees updated on emerging trends and regulatory changes regarding privacy and data security.
- Privacy Awareness Programs:
- Develop and implement continuous privacy awareness initiatives, such as email campaigns, quizzes, and infographics, to reinforce employee understanding of privacy requirements.
- Create and distribute regular newsletters or bulletins summarizing key privacy-related updates, best practices, and case studies from the SayPro Classified Office.
- Track employee participation and comprehension through surveys, feedback, and testing.
- Collaboration with SayPro Classified Office and Marketing:
- Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office to ensure training content aligns with SayPro’s privacy practices and the SCMR-5 standards.
- Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to integrate privacy practices into marketing and user-facing initiatives, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations in promotional materials.
- Support the implementation of SayPro Monthly Classified User Privacy initiatives, ensuring employees understand and uphold the privacy policies in day-to-day operations.
- Monitoring and Compliance:
- Monitor employee understanding and adherence to privacy protocols through periodic audits and assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on training outcomes and employee compliance to share with senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and adjustments in privacy training materials to address any emerging risks or areas of concern.
- Change Management and Regulation Updates:
- Stay updated on the latest changes in privacy regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies related to user data privacy.
- Revise training materials and practices as necessary to stay compliant with evolving privacy laws, including those affecting the classified advertising industry.
- Provide input to the SayPro Classified Office on how changes in regulations may impact internal processes and suggest improvements accordingly.
- Support and Employee Engagement:
- Offer ongoing support to employees regarding privacy-related concerns, questions, and clarifications.
- Foster a culture of privacy awareness and responsibility throughout the organization, encouraging employees to actively participate in maintaining user data privacy.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through employee feedback and implement necessary adjustments to ensure training objectives are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Security, Privacy Law, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in privacy laws (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) or related privacy frameworks is a plus.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in employee training, privacy compliance, or a similar role in a tech, marketing, or classified advertising company.
- Familiarity with SayPro Classifieds and other digital platforms handling user data is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex privacy regulations for a diverse audience.
- Ability to design engaging and educational content, including e-learning modules and instructor-led sessions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, especially when handling privacy-related regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in privacy tools, regulations, and security practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple training projects simultaneously.
