Position Overview:

The Privacy Support Specialist is responsible for providing essential support to SayPro Classified users regarding privacy matters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and safeguarding user data. The specialist will be a key point of contact for users seeking clarification and assistance about data privacy concerns. The position will require the individual to work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR, ensuring that all privacy protocols are in place and adhered to in accordance with SayPro’s policies and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User Privacy Support:
    • Provide expert-level support to SayPro Classified users, addressing inquiries related to user data privacy.
    • Offer assistance via multiple channels including FAQs, help centers, and chat support to clarify privacy-related concerns and queries.
    • Resolve privacy issues promptly, ensuring user data is handled correctly and in line with privacy regulations.
  2. Ensure Compliance with Regulations:
    • Stay up to date with the latest privacy laws and data protection regulations that affect the classified ad platform and ensure the organization is in compliance.
    • Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office to monitor and implement the necessary procedures for data protection.
    • Advise users on how their personal data is managed, stored, and protected, emphasizing SayPro’s commitment to safeguarding user privacy.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that privacy policies are consistently followed in all aspects of user interaction with the platform.
    • Provide training sessions or materials to other teams to ensure they understand the privacy procedures and regulations.
    • Assist in developing new privacy-related policies, FAQs, and best practices based on user feedback and regulatory changes.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document user interactions and feedback related to privacy issues, identifying recurring concerns and potential areas of improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports on the number of privacy-related queries, resolutions, and areas that require further clarification or enhancement in user experience.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records of privacy-related user inquiries, following internal data management standards.
  5. Privacy Education and Awareness:
    • Conduct periodic awareness campaigns within SayPro to educate users on the importance of data privacy and how they can protect their own personal information.
    • Update the SayPro FAQ section and help center with the latest information related to user privacy policies and practices.
    • Work with the marketing team to ensure that privacy issues are communicated effectively and clearly in all public-facing communications.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Law, or Business Administration).
    • Experience in a customer support role, particularly related to data privacy or user privacy concerns, is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with privacy laws and data protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, is a plus.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey privacy information to users.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost care.
    • Problem-solving mindset to handle and resolve user privacy concerns quickly and accurately.
    • Proficiency with various customer support platforms, including live chat, email, and knowledge management tools.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring privacy compliance across all interactions.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or inquiries at once.
