Job Title: Engagement Metrics Analyst

Role Overview:

The Engagement Metrics Analyst plays a vital role in evaluating the effectiveness of SayPro’s advertising efforts across multiple digital platforms. The core responsibility is to analyze key engagement metrics, including Click-Through Rate (CTR), conversion rates, bounce rates, and page load times, to measure ad effectiveness and provide insights that inform strategic decisions. This position supports SayPro’s mission of refining and optimizing digital marketing strategies, specifically within the SayPro Classified Office under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.

The Engagement Metrics Analyst will use data-driven analysis to provide a comprehensive understanding of user behavior, ensuring that the marketing team continuously improves the performance of online classified ads and related campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze Key Engagement Metrics:
    • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Track and evaluate the effectiveness of advertisements by measuring how often users click on ads compared to how often they are displayed.
    • Conversion Rates: Measure the percentage of users who complete a desired action after interacting with an ad (e.g., submitting an ad, making a purchase).
    • Bounce Rates: Analyze the percentage of visitors who leave the page without further interaction to identify areas for improvement in ad and landing page design.
    • Page Load Times: Monitor page load speeds and assess how delays may negatively impact user experience and conversion rates.
  2. Monthly Reporting (January SCMR-5):
    • Prepare detailed reports for the SayPro Monthly Classified User Insights analysis, covering user behavior and engagement metrics across all classified ads platforms.
    • Generate insights based on data trends, identifying opportunities to optimize ad effectiveness, reduce bounce rates, and improve overall user experience.
    • Focus on metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, and user engagement for ads featured under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
  3. Ad Effectiveness Evaluation:
    • Evaluate the performance of digital classified ads by comparing current metrics with historical performance data.
    • Work with the marketing team to suggest adjustments based on findings, such as refining targeting strategies, adjusting call-to-action messages, or improving landing page design.
  4. User Behavior Analysis:
    • Dive deeper into user behavior patterns, understanding what drives user engagement or causes visitors to leave a page.
    • Segment user data to provide insights based on demographics, geography, and behavioral factors.
    • Analyze data from different devices and browsers to ensure ads are optimized for all platforms and provide the best user experience.
  5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with the creative team to optimize ad content based on data insights (e.g., visual or text adjustments for higher CTR).
    • Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and address issues related to page load times and mobile responsiveness.
    • Liaise with the sales team to ensure that ad strategies align with overall business objectives and revenue goals.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and ad analytics.
    • Recommend new tools or techniques for improving metric tracking and ad optimization.
    • Regularly conduct A/B testing to assess and compare different ad variations for better performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, ad performance tracking, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar digital marketing platforms.
    • Knowledge of tracking tools such as Tag Manager and performance analytics tools.
    • Strong understanding of website analytics, including bounce rates, CTR, conversion tracking, and load time analysis.
    • Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation analysis, and cohort analysis.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable format.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing strategies.
