Job Overview:
The Classified Interface Auditor will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive audit of the current classified ad interfaces across the SayPro website and mobile apps. This audit will primarily focus on evaluating the usability of the interfaces on mobile devices, ensuring they meet the needs of users and are optimized for touch-screen interaction. The audit will contribute to enhancing the user experience, particularly for mobile users, ensuring they have an intuitive and seamless experience when navigating classified listings.
This role will report directly to the SayPro Marketing Manager and work closely with the SayPro Classified Office team to assess current functionalities, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the mobile interface adheres to best practices in usability and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Current Classified Interfaces:
- Conduct a detailed review of the classified ad sections on the SayPro website and mobile applications, focusing on their responsiveness and usability on touchscreens.
- Identify key pain points for mobile users, such as difficulties in navigating, inputting information, and interacting with the classified ads interface.
- Evaluate how well current designs align with SayPro’s user experience goals, especially for mobile usage.
- Assess all mobile classifications’ ease of use, including submitting and viewing ads, filtering categories, and navigating between listings.
- Usability Assessment:
- Focus on touch-friendly interfaces for mobile devices, ensuring all clickable elements, buttons, menus, and input fields are properly sized and positioned for touch interactions.
- Ensure that swipe gestures, taps, and other common mobile interactions work seamlessly across the classified listings.
- Test the user flow on different mobile devices (iOS and Android) to identify any platform-specific issues related to touchscreen interaction.
- Mobile Optimization:
- Evaluate the speed and responsiveness of the classified interface, ensuring quick load times and efficient display of ads.
- Assess the mobile interface’s visual design, ensuring that ads are displayed clearly, without overlapping text or images.
- Check for consistent and appropriate use of mobile-optimized features, such as collapsible menus, auto-complete for search queries, and easy navigation back to the homepage.
- Report Findings:
- Document key findings of the audit, detailing any usability issues identified on mobile platforms.
- Provide specific examples of user experience challenges with supporting screenshots or recordings if necessary.
- Prioritize issues by severity (critical, high, medium, low) and propose solutions or recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing and Web Development teams to address identified issues and propose updates to improve mobile usability.
- Share feedback and discuss audit results with relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
- Test Proposed Solutions:
- Once solutions are implemented, conduct a follow-up audit to test the effectiveness of the fixes.
- Perform usability testing with real users to ensure that the changes have had a positive impact on the overall experience.
- Provide feedback for any additional tweaks or refinements needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile usability and responsive web design.
- Regularly review and suggest updates to the classified interface, ensuring it remains optimized for mobile-first users.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Previous experience conducting usability audits, particularly in mobile and web interfaces. Experience in classified ad or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using mobile testing tools, website analytics platforms, and usability software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze user behaviors and interpret data to identify usability issues and propose effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, especially in assessing visual design elements and touch interaction usability.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable feedback.

- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and ensuring interfaces are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
- Understanding of the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR’s brand values and how to maintain consistency across all user interfaces.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Usability Improvement: Measurable improvements in mobile users’ ability to navigate and interact with classified ads.
- Reduction in Mobile Interaction Errors: A decrease in the number of reported mobile usability issues (e.g., unresponsive buttons, difficulty navigating ads).
- User Satisfaction: Increased user satisfaction scores related to mobile ad interactions.
- Timeliness: Completion of the audit and implementation of recommended changes within the designated timeline.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring that SayPro’s classified ad offerings are optimized for mobile-first experiences, keeping the company competitive in the ever-evolving mobile landscape. The Classified Interface Auditor will help improve user engagement and satisfaction across all mobile platforms.
