Objective: Gather feedback from internal team members regarding usability for SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and work on SayPro Monthly Classified Caching Implementation to enhance site speed.


Tasks to be Done:

  1. Review SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 Reports:
    • Collect all feedback, metrics, and findings from SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5.
    • Review the performance data of the site, especially in relation to usability, site speed, and user satisfaction.
    • Identify key areas requiring improvement from the feedback gathered.
  2. Team Feedback Session:
    • Organize a meeting with the internal team (including SayPro Marketing, IT, and Content teams).
    • Discuss the usability feedback from the SCMR-5 reports. Focus on user experience (UX), design feedback, and specific concerns related to site performance.
    • Gather individual feedback regarding:
      • Site navigation
      • Load times
      • Accessibility
      • Overall user experience during the classified ad submission, browsing, and searching processes.
  3. Identify Pain Points:
    • Identify specific issues or bottlenecks mentioned by internal team members related to the site’s speed and usability.
    • Document recurring issues or complaints regarding lagging performance, slow load times, or anything that impacts usability on both mobile and desktop versions.
  4. Assessment of Caching Solutions:
    • Investigate existing caching mechanisms and how they can be optimized for speed improvement.
    • Review caching solutions like browser caching, server-side caching, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
    • Work with the IT and web development team to analyze current configurations and determine the best caching methods to implement or optimize.
    • Explore the possibility of implementing a classifications data caching system to speed up repeated search queries and listings.
  5. Testing Caching Solutions:
    • Begin small-scale testing for the recommended caching solutions.
    • Work with IT to evaluate how different caching methods improve site load speed for various functionalities (e.g., homepage, ad search, ad submission).
    • Test caching for images, dynamic content, and frequently accessed data like categories, prices, and locations.
  6. Integration Plan Development:
    • Develop a detailed plan for the implementation of the Caching Solution across the entire platform, including backend and frontend integration.
    • Ensure the plan includes necessary precautions such as cache clearing mechanisms, content invalidation protocols, and ensuring compatibility with existing plugins and system functionalities.
    • Set up a timeline for full implementation by aligning with project goals and timelines.
  7. Collect and Analyze Feedback:
    • Gather internal feedback from the development and marketing teams after the initial caching solution testing.
    • Analyze how the caching solutions improve site speed and user experience, particularly for the classified sections of the website.
    • Record any issues or improvements observed during testing and suggest any further adjustments required for optimal performance.
