Position Overview: The SayPro Classified Content Coordinator plays a key role in managing the classification and organization of classified ads within the SayPro Classified Office. This position is pivotal in ensuring consistency, accuracy, and the strategic alignment of content tags, categories, and overall ad organization across various platforms and mediums.

The Content Coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams, particularly the Tag Management Team, to ensure that all classified ads are accurately tagged and categorized according to the established guidelines. This helps in streamlining the user experience, improving search functionality, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the SayPro Classified platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboration with Tag Management Team:
    • Work closely with the Tag Management team to ensure the consistent application of tags across all ad categories within the SayPro Classified platform.
    • Assist in the development and refinement of category structures to align with new trends, audience interests, and organizational needs.
    • Provide feedback to the Tag Management Team on user behavior and ad trends to help refine the categorization system and make recommendations for improvements.
  2. Consistency in Tagging and Categorization:
    • Oversee the accuracy and consistency of the tags applied to classified ads, ensuring that each ad is correctly categorized according to SayPro’s classification standards.
    • Audit and review the ad content to ensure all tags and categories meet the guidelines set forth by the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR.
    • Work with content creators and marketers to ensure ad alignment with relevant categories that support easy navigation and discoverability.
  3. Category Maintenance and Updates:
    • Collaborate with other departments to regularly update and maintain ad categories to keep up with new products, services, and ad trends in the market.
    • Ensure that all new categories or updates align with SayPro’s monthly content strategy and the broader goals of the SayPro Monthly SCMR-5.
    • Work with the Tag Management Team to implement new categorization strategies based on feedback and evolving needs from advertisers and users.
  4. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of ad categorization, focusing on metrics like user engagement, ad performance, and category relevance.
    • Use analytics tools to assess how well categorized ads are performing, and provide insights to the marketing and content teams to adjust strategies as needed.
    • Regularly assess tagging effectiveness and offer recommendations for optimizing tag use to improve ad searchability and relevance.
  5. Quality Control:
    • Monitor for compliance with the classification and tagging standards, ensuring that all content within the platform meets quality benchmarks.
    • Review and address any inconsistent categorization or misuse of tags, providing guidance and training to content creators and ad submitters.
    • Work with the Tag Management Team to ensure the accurate mapping of tags to relevant categories, preventing ad content from being misclassified.
  6. Collaboration on Marketing Initiatives:
    • Partner with the SayPro Marketing Team to ensure that classified ads are aligned with current promotional campaigns, marketing initiatives, and seasonal trends.
    • Assist in the development of new ad categories based on market analysis, customer feedback, and the latest industry trends.
    • Support special marketing efforts (e.g., promotions, seasonal ads) by ensuring relevant ads are grouped correctly, tagged properly, and aligned with the broader SayPro marketing strategy.
  7. Training and Best Practices:
    • Develop and conduct training sessions for ad creators, marketers, and content teams on how to effectively use the tagging system and follow best practices for ad categorization.
    • Create documentation and resources for internal teams to reference, ensuring everyone follows the same standards for ad categorization and tagging.
    • Promote awareness of the importance of proper categorization in enhancing ad visibility, improving user experience, and supporting the overall success of SayPro’s marketing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in content management, ad categorization, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with tag management systems and content categorization strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and how tags and categories can improve ad discoverability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in content tagging and categorization.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to measure the effectiveness of categorization efforts.
