Position Overview:
The SayPro Classified Content Coordinator is responsible for managing and organizing large volumes of content within the SayPro Classified platform. Specifically, this role focuses on managing classified ads and ensuring that content is categorized and tagged effectively to improve visibility and searchability. This position will work closely with the SayPro Marketing team, particularly under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR (SayPro Content Management and Reporting) framework, to maintain the quality and consistency of classified content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Organization & Management:
- Organize and manage large amounts of classified ad content coming through the SayPro Classified system.
- Maintain a streamlined process for uploading, editing, and managing classified content.
- Ensure the timely and accurate posting of ads, ensuring that all content complies with platform standards and user requirements.
- Tag Management:
- Create, manage, and update tags that categorize classified ads under different themes or topics.
- Work with the SayPro Marketing team to develop tag strategies that optimize content searchability and visibility.
- Regularly review and refine existing tags to maintain consistency and improve ad categorization accuracy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to track tag performance and ensure that ads are reaching their intended audience.
- Quality Control & Accuracy:
- Perform content reviews to ensure ads are complete, accurate, and in compliance with SayPro’s content guidelines.
- Monitor for any inappropriate or incorrect content and work with the moderation team to rectify any issues.
- Ensure that images, titles, descriptions, and metadata are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and tagging system.
- Content Optimization:
- Use SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for the platform and external search engines.
- Assist in implementing keywords and metadata that will drive traffic to classified ads and improve organic search rankings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that tag management and other classification strategies align with broader SEO goals.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular reports on content performance, focusing on key metrics such as views, clicks, engagement, and conversion.
- Work with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to track the success of tagging strategies and provide feedback for further optimization.
- Regularly review classified ad categories and tags to ensure they align with evolving market trends and consumer needs.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other departments, including the IT team, to ensure that the content management system is functioning optimally.
- Engage with the SayPro Marketing team to stay aligned with marketing campaigns and ensure ads are tagged and categorized appropriately to align with marketing goals.
- Provide feedback to the team on the effectiveness of content strategies and participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and initiatives.
- Customer and User Experience:
- Ensure that all classified content is user-friendly, with clear categorization and easy navigation for end users.
- Monitor user feedback and conduct usability testing to improve the user experience when searching for classified ads.
- Stay updated on trends in user behavior and adapt content strategies accordingly to enhance engagement.
Skills Required:
- Content Management:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large amounts of content efficiently.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with tools used for content organization and categorization.
- Attention to detail to ensure all content is accurately categorized and tagged.
- Tagging & Categorization:
- Deep understanding of how tags and categories enhance the searchability of online content.
- Experience in creating and managing a tagging system that effectively classifies and organizes content.
- Marketing Knowledge:
- Experience working with marketing teams, especially within digital marketing strategies such as SEO, keyword optimization, and content targeting.
- Familiarity with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR framework and its importance in content management.
- Understanding of how tagged content impacts visibility and engagement across platforms.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills:
- Ability to track, analyze, and report on content performance using analytics tools.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills to improve content strategies based on user interaction and performance metrics.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in using web-based content management platforms, analytics tools, and SEO software.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web languages is a plus for troubleshooting and making small adjustments to content.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service departments.
- Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in digital marketing, SEO, or content management are an advantage.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content coordination, digital marketing, or content management.
- Experience in managing large volumes of online content, including classified ads, is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
- This role will be based in the SayPro Classified Office, with occasional collaboration across multiple teams.
