Responsibilities:
- Tag Creation and Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive system for categorizing classified ads by creating, modifying, and updating relevant tags that align with the nature of the ad content.
- Work closely with the SayPro Classified team to understand the type of ads being posted and ensure tags are reflective of these categories, making it easier for users to search and filter ads based on specific keywords.
- Regularly update tags to accommodate seasonal trends, new ad categories, or evolving user needs, ensuring a dynamic and responsive classification system.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of existing tags by analyzing metrics such as user engagement, search success rates, and filter application. Use these insights to identify underperforming tags and optimize them for better performance.
- Assess the impact of specific tags on ad visibility and discoverability, implementing improvements to ensure tags are driving relevant traffic and increasing user engagement.
- Leverage analytics tools to track the effectiveness of each tag, ensuring they are categorizing ads accurately and benefiting the user experience.
- Regularly perform A/B testing on tags to understand their effectiveness in helping users find the right ads and make data-driven decisions on which tags to refine, remove, or introduce.
- Collaboration with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR:
- Work with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR (Supply Chain Management and Resources) team to align the tagging system with the marketing strategies and goals. Ensure tags complement marketing efforts, driving ads to the right audiences and enhancing visibility.
- Communicate regularly with the SayPro Marketing team to ensure that tagging practices are aligned with ongoing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal shifts in the market.
- Standardization and Consistency:
- Establish and maintain guidelines for tagging consistency, ensuring all classified ads are tagged appropriately and uniformly across the platform.
- Regularly audit the tagging system to check for inconsistencies or improper tag usage and take corrective actions as needed.
- Create a tag taxonomy and ensure it is adhered to, ensuring scalability as new ad categories and products emerge in the classified ads ecosystem.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance to team members and other stakeholders in the use of tagging systems, offering best practices and troubleshooting support.
- Offer support to the SayPro Classified team, ensuring that all members understand the importance of accurate tagging for optimizing searchability and user experience.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate monthly reports on tag performance, including key metrics such as tag engagement, traffic, and user search behavior.
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis, recommending changes or additions to the tagging strategy to maximize its effectiveness.
- Keep detailed documentation of tagging procedures, updates, and changes for future reference and training purposes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in tag management and SEO practices to keep the tagging system innovative and effective.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the tagging system with emerging technologies, integrating artificial intelligence or automation tools when relevant.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SEO and tagging best practices in the classified ads industry.
- Experience with web analytics tools to measure and report on tag performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage large sets of data, identifying patterns and making data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SayPro Classified Officeβs overall ad categorization strategies, ensuring that users have the best experience possible when searching for and filtering ads.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to tag visibility, search relevance, or categorization problems in collaboration with the IT and product teams.
