Position Overview:

The Website Security Manager for SayPro Classified Office will play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and management of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption protocols across SayPro Classified websites. This includes closely collaborating with the SSL Integration Specialist and other IT staff to address any security gaps, issues, or challenges from the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 project under the broader SayPro Monthly Classified SSL Encryption initiative. The role also entails working closely with the marketing team to ensure the seamless integration of SSL certificates for secure data transmission under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SSL Integration and Management:
   • Collaborate with the SSL Integration Specialist to ensure successful implementation of SSL certificates on all SayPro Classified platforms.
   • Continuously monitor and validate SSL encryption across SayPro Classified websites to ensure encrypted data transmission and compliance with security best practices.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve SSL-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the website’s security integrity.
2. Security Audits and Updates:
   • Perform regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities related to SSL certificates, encryption configurations, and website security protocols.
   • Ensure timely updates to SSL certificates, including renewals, upgrades, and any security patches, as part of regular website maintenance.
   • Review and adjust encryption protocols as necessary to maintain industry-leading security standards.
3. Collaboration with IT and Development Teams:
   • Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate SSL encryption during website updates and new feature implementations.
   • Provide guidance and recommendations on security-related enhancements for future developments of the SayPro Classified platforms.
   • Ensure SSL certificates are compatible with new features and custom software used within the SayPro Classified system.
4. Incident Response and Issue Resolution:
   • Lead the response efforts in the event of SSL security incidents, providing fast and effective solutions to mitigate any breaches or vulnerabilities.
   • Conduct root cause analysis of SSL-related issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
   • Document all security incidents and resolutions for future reference and compliance purposes.
5. Collaboration with Marketing Team (SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR):
   • Work in collaboration with the SayPro Marketing team to align SSL encryption strategies with marketing initiatives, ensuring customer data security is maintained during campaigns.
   • Ensure SSL certificates are correctly applied during special events, marketing campaigns, and promotions managed under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR framework.
6. Documentation and Compliance:
   • Maintain detailed records of SSL encryption processes, certificate installations, and security audits in line with company policies and industry regulations.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, ensuring encrypted communication for all user data handled by the SayPro Classified websites.
   • Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in security policies, SSL integration processes, and compliance requirements.
7. Training and Awareness:
   • Conduct training for internal stakeholders on SSL encryption, website security protocols, and best practices for maintaining secure connections.
   • Promote security awareness among team members and provide resources to ensure everyone follows security best practices in their daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Website Security Manager, SSL Implementation Specialist, or similar role in website security management.
• Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols, encryption methods, and secure data transmission practices.
• Experience working with various SSL certificate authorities (CAs) and certificate management tools.
• Proficiency in website security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, especially IT and marketing departments.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and CCPA.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document processes and communicate with internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in website security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar).
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or similar platforms commonly used for classified websites.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and its impact on SSL certificate management.
