Overview:
The Product Manager (SayPro Classified Office) is responsible for optimizing and refining the sorting features in the SayPro Classified platform to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience. This role involves ensuring that sorting options like date, price, and popularity are continuously improved to meet both performance expectations and user needs. As part of the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 initiative, the Product Manager will focus on the SayPro Monthly Classified Sorting Options and work closely with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to enhance the overall user engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Sorting Features:
- Ensure that the sorting features for the SayPro Classified platform (including options such as date, price, and popularity) are optimized for high performance and user satisfaction.
- Analyze data and user feedback to continuously refine and enhance the sorting experience.
- Work with engineering teams to improve the speed and reliability of sorting algorithms.
- Product Strategy & Development:
- Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for sorting features.
- Collaborate with the design, engineering, and marketing teams to define requirements, create user stories, and ensure smooth integration of new sorting options.
- Track the progress of product features through regular sprints, ensuring timely delivery and proper functionality.
- User Experience Focus:
- Actively engage with end-users and gather feedback through surveys, usability studies, and user testing to better understand their needs and pain points.
- Ensure that sorting features are intuitive, easy to use, and offer a seamless experience across all devices.
- Prioritize user-centric design when implementing sorting options and adjust features to meet diverse customer expectations.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
- Monitor the performance of sorting options regularly to ensure that they meet speed and scalability benchmarks.
- Implement strategies for troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise with sorting functionalities.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to track KPIs and performance metrics related to sorting features, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure sorting features align with broader marketing objectives and campaign goals.
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure that new sorting features and updates are communicated effectively and rolled out successfully.
- Facilitate discussions between product, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product goals and strategies.
- Product Launch & Feedback Loops:
- Oversee the launch of new sorting features, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders and proper training for customer support teams.
- Establish a feedback loop post-launch to assess user adoption and identify areas for further improvement.
- Create a set of best practices and documentation for sorting features to guide internal teams and external users.
- Market Research & Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to sorting and search functionalities in online classifieds platforms.
- Leverage market insights to influence the direction of new sorting features and ensure that SayPro Classified remains competitive and innovative.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare regular reports on the performance of sorting options, including user engagement, conversion rates, and feature adoption.
- Present findings and actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within e-commerce, classifieds, or tech product domains.
- Proven track record of leading the optimization and enhancement of sorting or search features within a consumer-facing platform.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
