Create Monthly Reports on the Performance of the Social Media Sharing Feature

Report Name:

SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 – SayPro Monthly Classified Social Media Sharing

Responsible Unit:

SayPro Classified Office under SayPro Marketing Royalty (SCMR)


Objective:

To systematically collect, analyze, and present data on how SayPro’s social media sharing feature is being used, and to evaluate its effectiveness in driving user engagement, ad visibility, site traffic, and sales conversions.


Scope of Reporting:

This responsibility involves creating detailed monthly performance reports that specifically include:

  1. Total Number of Shares:
    • Count of classified ads shared via the social media sharing feature.
    • Comparison with the previous month’s figures (growth or decline trends).
  2. Platform Breakdown:
    • Which platforms were used for sharing (e.g., Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram).
    • Percentage distribution per platform.
    • Highlight which platforms showed higher engagement or clicks.
  3. User Interaction Metrics:
    • Number of clicks on shared links.
    • Average time spent on the site by users who arrived via shared links.
    • Bounce rate from each platform.
  4. Sales and Conversion Analysis:
    • Number of inquiries or transactions traced back to shared ads.
    • Revenue or conversions linked to social media traffic.
    • Identify best-performing ad categories (e.g., Jobs, Property, Services) based on share-to-conversion rate.
  5. Traffic Correlation:
    • Overall increase in site traffic attributed to shared content.
    • Referral traffic breakdown using UTM or tracking links.
    • Peak engagement periods and days.
  6. Top Shared Content:
    • List of top 10 most shared ads.
    • Description of the content, category, and nature of the ad.
    • What made them popular (e.g., catchy titles, visuals, trending topics).
  7. Issues and Recommendations:
    • Any technical glitches or limitations experienced with sharing features.
    • Suggestions to improve performance (e.g., adding more platforms, tweaking preview thumbnails).
    • Marketing recommendations based on user behavior (e.g., timing of posts, ad design).

Reporting Format and Submission:

  • Report Format: PDF and Google Slides (with embedded charts, tables, and visuals).
  • Visualizations: Line graphs, bar charts, pie charts, heatmaps (for click behavior), and trend curves.
  • Frequency: Monthly (on or before the 5th business day of each month).
  • Distribution: Shared with SayPro Management, Digital Strategy Unit, and SayPro Classified Stakeholders.

  • Design and maintain a Monthly Social Media Sharing Tracker (SMST) Sheet.
  • Ensure every ad share is traceable via tagging or link management.
  • Communicate insights to relevant departments (e.g., Sales, Content, UX).
  • Follow up on action points based on recommendations.
