Job Description: Technical Support Team

Position Title: Technical Support Specialist – SayPro Monthly Classified SCMR-5
Department: SayPro Technical Division
Reporting To: SayPro Marketing Royalty Lead / SayPro Classified Office
Employment Type: Contract / Full-time
Location: Remote / SayPro In-Person Venues

Role Summary

The Technical Support Team ensures the smooth operation of the SayPro platform for each session, particularly during high-priority events like the SayPro Monthly SCMR-5. This includes online setup, classified module support, platform access management, user role administration, and system troubleshooting. The team works closely with the Marketing Royalty and SayPro Classified Office to enforce technical standards and provide seamless access and functionality for all users.


Responsibilities

1. Platform Setup & Session Readiness

  • Ensure that the SayPro website and classified platform are fully operational prior to the start of each monthly session (especially the January SCMR-5).
  • Conduct technical rehearsals for virtual sessions and test onsite equipment and platform interfaces for in-person events.
  • Monitor uptime, hosting integrity, and load capacity to prevent downtime during peak usage.
  • Configure event-specific features such as livestreams, video hosting, and interactive elements as required.

2. Accessibility Assurance

  • Validate that all SayPro interfaces (web and mobile) are accessible in accordance with WCAG guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot login issues, loading errors, and browser compatibility concerns to guarantee smooth user entry.
  • Provide support for both internal users (SayPro staff/admins) and external users (learners, partners, guests).

3. Classified Role Management

  • Assign, manage, and audit user roles and permissions on the SayPro Classified system.
  • Implement permission sets that match the workflow of SayPro Monthly Classified modules (e.g., admin, content moderator, category manager).
  • Maintain records of access levels, updates, and changes initiated by or on behalf of the SayPro Classified Office.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and internal SOPs related to access control.

4. Coordination with SayPro Marketing Royalty

  • Work under the strategic direction of the SayPro Marketing Royalty team to support technical needs aligned with campaign goals.
  • Implement integrations and support classified ads relevant to marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and royalty-driven content.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between campaign rollouts and technical infrastructure.

5. Reporting and Escalation

  • Maintain logs of all technical activities, errors, resolutions, and system status during the session.
  • Generate end-of-session technical reports for the Classified Office and Marketing Royalty Lead.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level engineers or external vendors as needed.

6. User Support and Training

  • Provide real-time support to users during events through live chat, email, and phone.
  • Conduct internal training for SayPro staff on using the platform and managing classified roles.
  • Update FAQs, help documents, and support workflows based on recurring issues and user feedback.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in web platforms (WordPress, Classifieds WP, or similar CMS)
  • Knowledge of user role and permission systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in virtual event tech or hybrid conference platforms (Zoom, Hopin, MS Teams)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure
  • Familiarity with access control policies and data privacy practices
