Website Structure Analyst – Sitemap Optimization (SCMR-5 Classified Initiative)

Remote / SayPro Marketing Royalty Office

Job Purpose:

To ensure that SayPro’s classified websites are properly indexed and optimized for search engines by identifying structural gaps, missing links, and unindexed pages. This role plays a critical part in the January SCMR-5 Initiative, which aims to improve the visibility and SEO performance of SayPro Classifieds through accurate and complete sitemap generation and submission.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Structure Analysis

  • Review and audit the full structure of SayPro Classified websites.
  • Use tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs) to crawl the site and identify any missing pages, orphan pages, or broken internal links.
  • Compare the live website structure against the previously submitted sitemap from the last SCMR month (December).

2. Identify Missing or Unindexed Pages

  • Locate any important classified pages (e.g., categories, individual listings, or filtered views) that are not currently indexed by Google or other major search engines.
  • Flag any broken links or errors (404, redirect loops) that prevent proper crawling.
  • Ensure dynamic content (e.g., listings by date or location) is accessible and properly linked.

3. Collaborate with the Sitemap Creation Team

  • Work with the SayPro Monthly Classified Sitemap Creation team to:
    • Add missing links and pages to the master sitemap.
    • Update sitemap structure (XML and HTML if needed).
    • Validate the sitemap using tools like XML Sitemap Validator.
    • Ensure multilingual or region-specific versions of the classified pages are also included.

4. Support Sitemap Submission

  • Prepare the updated sitemap for submission to Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other search engines.
  • Ensure all newly added links follow canonical tag best practices and do not duplicate existing indexed pages.

5. Report Generation & Documentation

  • Provide a detailed analysis report of the site structure before and after updates.
  • Summarize issues found, pages added, broken links fixed, and SEO improvements made.
  • Contribute to the SCMR-5 Monthly Reporting Log for January.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of website architecture, SEO, and web crawling/indexing.
  • Experience using website analysis tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, and sitemap formatting.
  • Familiarity with classified ad platforms and dynamic listing generation.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Performance Indicators:

  • Percentage increase in indexed pages after sitemap submission.
  • Number of broken or missing links resolved.
  • Accuracy of sitemap structure (zero crawl errors post-submission).
  • Timely delivery of January SCMR-5 Sitemap Updates.
