Job Title: Marketing Team Member – Event Promotion & Classified Role Management

Position Summary

As a Marketing Team Member at SayPro, your primary responsibility is to design, coordinate, and execute digital marketing strategies aimed at promoting SayPro events to targeted audiences. Additionally, you will manage the role-based permissions system for users and administrators on SayPro Classified platforms. You will work closely with various departments to ensure consistent branding, efficient user access management, and successful audience engagement for SayPro events.


Key Responsibilities

1. Event Promotion Strategy

  • Develop a digital marketing plan for each SayPro event, aligning with company objectives and target audience segments.
  • Define clear goals (e.g., attendee registration, brand visibility) and use analytics tools to measure success.

2. Social Media Marketing

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Monitor engagement, respond to audience queries, and adjust content strategy based on performance.
  • Design visually appealing and on-brand social media graphics using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

3. Email Marketing Campaigns

  • Design and execute email campaigns to invite, remind, and follow up with attendees for SayPro events.
  • Segment mailing lists to target specific groups effectively (partners, professionals, alumni, learners).
  • Track open rates, click-throughs, and optimize subject lines and content.

4. SayPro Website Banners and Content

  • Collaborate with the web design team to create promotional banners for SayPro events.
  • Ensure all event pages are up to date with correct registration links, agenda, speakers, and multimedia content.

5. Coordination with SayPro Monthly

  • Work with the SayPro Monthly editorial team to feature events in upcoming editions.
  • Submit event write-ups, visuals, and calls-to-action in line with SCMR-5 guidelines.

Classified Role Management Responsibilities

6. Role Assignment and Access Control

  • Assign appropriate roles and permissions for users and administrators within SayPro’s Classified software.
  • Maintain a structured role hierarchy ensuring that each user’s access aligns with their job function.
  • Regularly audit roles to prevent misuse or over-permissioning.

7. User & Admin Onboarding

  • Set up accounts for new team members and ensure they receive the correct role-based permissions.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding documentation to guide new admins on system use.

8. System Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor system logs to track role changes, access violations, or permission escalations.
  • Generate monthly reports to submit to the SayPro Classified Office for audit and review.

9. Collaboration with SayPro IT & Compliance

  • Work alongside the IT security and compliance teams to ensure that role management policies meet SayPro’s standards.
  • Implement best practices for user management, such as least-privilege access and role expiration policies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in digital marketing, event promotion, or community engagement
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools (Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Familiarity with user management in classified ad platforms or CMS (WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and graphic design skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics and CRM systems
  • Attention to detail, especially in handling user data and permissions

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in event registration numbers through digital campaigns
  • Social media engagement rate and post reach
  • Email open and click-through rates
  • Number of properly managed user roles with zero access violations
  • Timely updates to SayPro event banners and content
  • Compliance with monthly SCMR-5 reporting and audit readiness
