Position: SayPro Employee – Integration Specialist (Classified Ad Features)
Location: SayPro Classified Office

Job Overview

The Integration Specialist at SayPro will play a crucial role in ensuring that once users have successfully registered and logged into the platform, they have complete access to the classified ad features. These features will include posting new ads, saving ads, and managing their listings. This role is central to the seamless operation of the classified ad system, facilitating user interaction with the platform, and ensuring an optimized user experience.

This position will involve working closely with the development and marketing teams to execute the implementation of user registration, login features, and integration of these features into the broader SayPro platform. The role will be guided by the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 and the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR plans.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Registration and Login Implementation
    • Objective: To ensure the integration of a seamless user registration and login system, allowing users to easily access their accounts.
    • Tasks:
      • Implement and test registration forms that collect essential user information (e.g., name, email, password).
      • Ensure that the system can validate registration data, preventing errors and ensuring data integrity.
      • Implement login functionality for returning users, including secure password handling and recovery options.
      • Ensure that user credentials are stored securely, complying with relevant data protection regulations.
  2. Integration with Classified Ad Features
    • Objective: Provide full access to classified ad features for registered users, ensuring they can post, save, and manage their ads with ease.
    • Tasks:
      • Ensure that once users log in, they are directed to the classified ad dashboard where they can create, view, edit, or delete their listings.
      • Work with the front-end team to design a user-friendly interface for posting and managing ads.
      • Implement functionality to allow users to save ads of interest, track the status of their listings, and update ads as needed.
      • Ensure that users can delete their ads or mark them as expired if required.
  3. Security and User Privacy
    • Objective: Safeguard user information while interacting with classified ad features.
    • Tasks:
      • Ensure all user data, including personal and financial information, is securely handled according to the latest security standards.
      • Work with the security team to implement secure login methods (e.g., two-factor authentication) to prevent unauthorized access.
      • Test and review all user access points to ensure that security measures are robust and users’ privacy is maintained.
  4. Ongoing Maintenance and Updates
    • Objective: Continuously improve and update user access to classified ad features as per user feedback and new requirements.
    • Tasks:
      • Monitor the registration and login processes to identify any issues that may arise, such as bugs or access issues.
      • Collaborate with the development team to fix any technical problems related to user registration or classified ad feature access.
      • Keep abreast of new technology trends and propose updates to improve the overall user experience.
  5. Collaboration with Other Teams
    • Objective: Work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless integration of classified ad features.
    • Tasks:
      • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to align with marketing strategies and ensure the system supports customer acquisition and retention goals.
      • Communicate with the customer support team to address user queries related to registration and classified ad features.
  6. User Feedback and Continuous Improvement
    • Objective: Use user feedback to refine and improve the integration of classified ad features.
    • Tasks:
      • Gather feedback from users regarding their experience with registration, login, and classified ad features.
      • Analyze data from user interactions and suggest improvements to streamline the process.
      • Participate in user testing and help refine the user interface to improve usability.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in web development and user integration is acceptable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in web development or user integration roles.
    • Experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Familiarity with MySQL or other database management systems for handling user data.
    • Experience with integrating APIs for user authentication (OAuth, social logins, etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular.
    • Experience in implementing secure login systems (OAuth, JWT).
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms and eCommerce solutions, especially WordPress or classified ad software.
    • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) for managing server-side applications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data-driven approaches.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
    • Security certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP) are a plus.

Performance Metrics

  • User Engagement: Monitor the number of users registering and successfully logging in. Ensure that the percentage of users actively posting or managing ads is increasing.
  • Security Metrics: Ensure that there are no security breaches related to user registration or classified ad management.
  • Feedback and User Satisfaction: Regularly gather user feedback regarding the ease of use and functionality of the classified ad features, aiming for high user satisfaction rates.
