Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of the employee in this role is to customize and segment messages for ad renewal reminders based on the type of classified ad. This will ensure that each reminder sent is highly relevant and tailored to the specific needs of the advertiser. The focus is on ads related to various categories, such as real estate, cars, jobs, etc. These reminders will be part of the SayPro Monthly Classified Renewal Reminders process (SCMR-5), ensuring that advertisers are prompted effectively for ad renewals and maintaining customer engagement with SayPro’s classified advertising platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Segmentation of Advertisers:
    • Segment the list of advertisers based on the type of ad they have posted (e.g., real estate, vehicles, jobs, services, etc.).
    • Use available customer data to understand the type of ad and customize the reminder accordingly.
    • Create unique segments for each category of ads to ensure each segment receives a highly personalized reminder.
  2. Customization of Renewal Reminder Messages:
    • Develop and write customized reminder messages for each ad category, ensuring relevance and value to the advertiser.
    • Incorporate category-specific benefits into each message (e.g., “renew your real estate ad to keep attracting potential buyers” or “renew your job listing to keep reaching qualified candidates”).
    • Maintain a consistent tone and branding in the reminder messages while adjusting the content to suit the needs of different advertisers.
  3. Collaboration with the Marketing Team:
    • Work closely with the SayPro Marketing Manager to align ad renewal strategies with ongoing campaigns and marketing initiatives.
    • Ensure the renewal reminders fit within the broader marketing framework and incorporate marketing goals (e.g., promotions, discounts, seasonal offers).
  4. Implementation of SCMR-5 Process:
    • Ensure all ad renewal reminders are sent out according to the SayPro Monthly SCMR-5 schedule, with timely notifications for upcoming renewals.
    • Assist in tracking the performance of ad renewal reminders (open rates, engagement, conversion to renewals) and suggest improvements where necessary.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain and update advertiser segmentation lists to ensure that new ads and renewals are properly categorized.
    • Provide periodic reports to the SayPro Marketing Manager on the effectiveness of renewal reminder campaigns, including engagement metrics and renewal rates.
    • Adjust strategies based on feedback and performance data to maximize renewal rates.
  6. Customer Service Support:
    • Be available to address inquiries or concerns from advertisers regarding their renewal reminders and provide assistance with the renewal process when needed.
    • Handle follow-up communication to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention among advertisers.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on trends in classified advertising, and marketing best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvements related to ad renewals.
    • Regularly evaluate the performance of renewal reminders and make necessary adjustments to improve their relevance and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, customer segmentation, or content personalization.
    • Prior experience with classified advertising platforms or digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to tailor content for specific audiences.
    • Strong analytical skills for segmenting data and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems or similar software used for segmentation and email marketing (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp).
    • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Renewal Conversion Rate:
    The percentage of segmented advertisers who act on renewal reminders and renew their ads.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Feedback from advertisers about the relevance and usefulness of renewal reminder messages.

Working Environment:

  • This role is based in the SayPro Classified Office, with remote work options available as per company policies.
  • Interaction with the marketing team, customer service, and other departments will be essential.
