Position Overview:

The SayPro Classified Rating and Reviews Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation and maintenance of the rating and review system for classified ads and sellers within the SayPro Classified platform. This role ensures that the system operates effectively to provide valuable feedback for users while maintaining high standards for the integrity of reviews and ratings.

As the Rating and Reviews Manager, you will be instrumental in facilitating customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns, complaints, or inquiries from users related to the rating and review system. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing and customer service, to ensure the system’s functionality aligns with the goals of SayPro’s Classified platform.


Key Responsibilities:

1. User Support:

  • Inquiries and Complaints Management:
    Act as the primary point of contact for users who have inquiries or complaints related to the rating and review system. Address user concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring that all inquiries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Resolution of Disputes:
    Resolve disputes arising from conflicting reviews or ratings. Investigate the legitimacy of complaints and take appropriate actions, including removal of fraudulent reviews or ratings.
  • Provide Clear Communication:
    Keep users informed about the status of their inquiries, providing transparent communication regarding any changes to reviews, ratings, or policies.

2. System Implementation and Maintenance:

  • Manage Rating and Review System:
    Oversee the full lifecycle of the rating and review system for ads and sellers within SayPro Classified. This includes system setup, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Monitor System Performance:
    Regularly evaluate the functionality of the rating and review system, ensuring it operates without issues and meets user needs. Work closely with the IT and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated on the latest trends in review systems and customer feedback mechanisms. Propose and implement improvements to the system based on feedback from users and analytics.

3. Content Moderation and Quality Assurance:

  • Review Content for Accuracy and Authenticity:
    Ensure that all ratings and reviews submitted by users are genuine, adhere to SayPro’s guidelines, and are free from spam or inappropriate content.
  • Establish and Enforce Guidelines:
    Develop, communicate, and enforce clear guidelines for submitting reviews and ratings. Ensure that users are aware of the policies related to false, misleading, or offensive content.

4. Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Teams:

  • Integrate with Marketing Campaigns:
    Work alongside the marketing department to align the review and rating system with broader promotional activities, enhancing the credibility of ads and fostering user trust in the platform.
  • Support Seller Performance:
    Collaborate with the sales team to identify top-performing sellers based on their ratings and reviews. Provide reports and insights that can help sellers improve their services and boost customer satisfaction.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate Reports:
    Prepare regular reports on the performance of the rating and review system, highlighting key metrics such as review volume, average ratings, user engagement, and common complaints.
  • Data-driven Insights:
    Analyze feedback and patterns within the ratings and reviews to identify potential issues or areas for improvement in the classified ads process. Share actionable insights with senior management to drive strategic decision-making.

6. Training and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Train Team Members:
    Provide training to other SayPro staff on the processes, guidelines, and best practices related to the rating and review system.
  • Develop Knowledge Base:
    Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support users and team members in understanding the rating and review process. This includes FAQs, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides.

7. Customer Engagement and Retention:

  • User Education:
    Educate users on the benefits of providing accurate reviews and ratings, and how it impacts the broader SayPro Classified community. Encourage users to participate in the system to enhance the overall experience for sellers and buyers.
  • Monitor User Satisfaction:
    Measure user satisfaction with the rating and review system and make adjustments as needed to improve the user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in managing user feedback systems, ratings, and reviews for an e-commerce or classified ads platform.
    • Proven experience in user support, content moderation, or customer service.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of online rating systems, reviews, and user feedback.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle sensitive user issues professionally and empathetically.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other common office tools.
