Job Purpose:

The Mobile Usability Specialist is responsible for evaluating, reporting, and enhancing the mobile user experience (UX) across SayPro’s Classified platforms. The role ensures that all classified interfaces are optimized for touchscreen and mobile responsiveness, delivering seamless, intuitive, and efficient interactions for all mobile users.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Report on Mobile Usability (SayPro Monthly March SCMR-5):

  • Develop comprehensive monthly reports detailing the current state of SayPro Classified’s mobile usability.
  • Audit mobile versions of the SayPro Classified website and apps for usability issues and inconsistencies.
  • Identify and document user friction points, bugs, and interface design problems affecting mobile performance.
  • Include quantitative and qualitative analysis, user feedback summaries, and analytics (e.g., bounce rates, tap targets, load speeds).
  • Provide actionable recommendations for future UX improvements based on trends, data, and user behavior.
  • Present findings to the SayPro Marketing Royalty and key stakeholders in structured formats.

2. SayPro Monthly Classified Touchscreen Usability:

  • Ensure all mobile interactions within SayPro Classified products are touch-friendly and accessible.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and developers to implement enhancements to tap targets, scroll behavior, gestures, and touch navigation.
  • Conduct mobile usability testing, including A/B tests and real-user walkthroughs on different screen sizes and devices.
  • Maintain a mobile usability checklist in compliance with SayPro’s internal usability standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and benchmark SayPro Classified mobile experiences against industry standards and competitors.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office and Digital Development Team to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
  • Act as a liaison between SayPro users and technical teams to ensure user needs are accurately translated into development requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing analysts to measure the business impact of mobile usability improvements.

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile UX/UI, responsive design, and touchscreen behavior.
  • Introduce new tools, plugins, and testing frameworks to improve mobile experience analysis.
  • Propose experiments and pilot projects to test cutting-edge usability features.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile UX design or mobile usability analysis.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design, mobile-first principles, and touchscreen interaction models.
  • Experience using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Figma, Adobe XD, and mobile testing platforms.
  • Ability to interpret data, conduct user research, and clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

Performance Indicators:

  • Quality and timeliness of monthly usability reports.
  • Measurable improvements in mobile metrics (engagement, bounce rates, time on site, etc.).
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with reports and recommended implementations.
  • Positive feedback from mobile users and user testing sessions.
  • Implementation rate of recommended usability improvements.

Location:

Remote and/or based in a SayPro regional office.
Occasional in-person workshops or user testing events may be required.
