Objective:
Ensure optimal user experience and operational efficiency on SayPro’s classified platform by identifying and resolving performance issues such as broken links, slow loading times, and underperforming pages. This aligns with the goals set out in SCMR-5: SayPro Monthly Classified Traffic Monitoring.


1. Monitor Site Performance Using Analytics Tools

Responsibility:

  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMrush, or SayPro’s internal analytics dashboards to track traffic patterns, bounce rates, session duration, and page loading times.
  • Evaluate real-time and historical data to identify anomalies or declines in traffic.

Actions:

  • Set performance benchmarks and KPIs for classified ad pages.
  • Create monthly performance reports summarizing key insights and patterns.

2. Identify Broken Links

Responsibility:

  • Run regular automated scans and manual checks to identify 404 errors or redirects that do not function correctly.

Actions:

  • Use tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or built-in CMS plugins to scan the site.
  • Maintain a log of all broken links and their locations.
  • Prioritize fixing broken links on high-traffic pages or pages critical to the user journey.

3. Address Slow Loading Times

Responsibility:

  • Assess loading times for all pages, especially those with rich media content, embedded maps, or external scripts.

Actions:

  • Use performance-testing tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse to identify loading issues.
  • Work with the SayPro development team to:
    • Optimize images and videos.
    • Minimize JavaScript and CSS files.
    • Leverage browser caching and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
  • Retest pages after optimization and log improvements monthly.

4. Track and Improve Underperforming Pages

Responsibility:

  • Identify pages with low engagement, high exit rates, or poor conversion.

Actions:

  • Conduct a content audit on underperforming listings or categories.
  • Analyze user behavior through heatmaps and scroll maps to understand drop-off points.
  • A/B test headlines, calls-to-action (CTAs), and layouts to improve performance.
  • Report and track all improvement efforts and outcomes in the monthly SCMR-5 traffic monitoring log.

5. Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders

Responsibility:

  • Ensure continuous communication between the SayPro Classified Office and SayPro Marketing Royalty.

Actions:

  • Share monthly traffic and performance reports.
  • Organize review meetings to evaluate success and align future actions.
  • Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for ongoing campaigns.

6. Ensure Compliance with SayPro Quality Standards

Responsibility:

  • Verify that all monitored changes comply with SayPro’s branding, SEO, accessibility, and performance standards.

Actions:

  • Conduct QA testing post-implementation of fixes.
  • Maintain documentation on all monitoring procedures and performance logs.

7. Archive Monthly SCMR-5 Reports

Responsibility:

  • Maintain and organize archived SCMR-5 reports for reference and trend analysis.

Actions:

  • Label and store reports by month and performance category.
  • Use historical data to forecast potential performance risks and opportunities.
