Job Purpose:
To systematically collect, verify, and maintain accurate data from various advertising channels and tools used by SayPro’s Classified platform, with a specific focus on enhancing the functionality and performance of the Geolocation Features within SayPro’s classified services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection
- Gather structured and unstructured data from multiple advertising channels (online classifieds, internal CRM tools, third-party ad platforms).
- Ensure collection aligns with SayPro’s Monthly SCMR-5 and Quarterly Classified reporting standards.
- Maintain a log of data sources, frequency, and collection methods.
- Coordinate with SayPro regional teams to ensure local classified data is accurately captured.
2. Data Verification & Quality Assurance
- Regularly verify the accuracy, relevance, and completeness of collected data.
- Use automated tools and manual checks to identify errors or outdated information.
- Update and clean datasets to ensure high data quality for reporting and analysis.
- Flag inconsistencies to the SayPro Classified Geolocation Manager for review.
3. Geolocation Feature Management Support
- Assist in mapping classified ad data to geographical locations using geolocation tools (e.g., Google Maps API, IP location databases).
- Ensure geolocation data supports accurate search, filtering, and display functions on SayPro Classified platforms.
- Provide regular feedback on geolocation inaccuracies or gaps to the technical team.
4. Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
- Compile data for SayPro Monthly SCMR-5 reports, ensuring submission by deadline.
- Support the preparation of SayPro Quarterly Classified Geolocation Features Reports.
- Collaborate with the Classified Office to extract insights and performance metrics from the data.
5. Liaison & Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between SayPro Marketing Royalty and the Classified Office to align data practices with strategic marketing goals.
- Support other team members in understanding collected data for use in promotional strategies, campaign targeting, and SEO.
6. Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure all data collection and handling complies with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of privacy regulations applicable to data management in classified advertising.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Data Handling Expertise: Strong ability to collect, clean, and interpret advertising data.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with spreadsheets, data collection tools, APIs, and basic data visualization platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in verifying data accuracy and spotting anomalies.
- Geolocation Awareness: Understanding of how location data integrates into classified advertising systems.
- Reporting Skills: Ability to compile detailed reports using raw data and structured templates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with geolocation tools and classified ad platforms.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and data management tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Performance Metrics:
- Timeliness and accuracy of monthly SCMR-5 submissions.
- Quality and completeness of quarterly geolocation feature reports.
- Reduction in geolocation errors or inconsistencies over time.
- Positive feedback from internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, classified, tech teams).
