Job Overview:
As an Ad Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of classified ads submitted through SayPro. This role focuses on identifying key trends and patterns to maximize ad effectiveness and inform ad submitters about the best practices for performance. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure the classification system is aligned with industry standards and customer expectations. Your work will directly impact the visibility and success of ads across SayPro’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze Ad Performance Trends
- Regular Monitoring:
- Track ad performance metrics such as views, clicks, conversions, and engagement across various categories (e.g., clothing, real estate, job listings, etc.).
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, internal systems) to extract key data points related to ad interactions.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze performance trends to identify high-performing categories, keywords, and ad types.
- Determine patterns in ad effectiveness across different demographics (age, location, device usage).
- Investigate any downturns in ad performance to identify possible causes (seasonality, market shifts, etc.).
- Actionable Insights:
- Provide actionable insights to ad submitters based on data-driven findings.
- Highlight the most successful ad formats and recommend them to users.
- Use A/B testing results to determine which ads perform better and why.
2. Optimize Ads for Better Performance
- Category Optimization:
- Identify ad categories that are performing well and those that need improvement.
- Offer ad submitters guidance on improving ad visibility based on category performance.
- Recommend keyword adjustments and SEO strategies to help ads rank better in category searches.
- Creative Recommendations:
- Analyze creative elements (e.g., images, titles, descriptions) to see what influences engagement and click-through rates.

- Ad Frequency and Timing:
- Analyze trends related to the timing of ad submissions (e.g., day, week, season).

3. Report and Document Findings
- Create Regular Performance Reports:
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on ad performance, trends, and category-based performance insights.

6. Maintain Data Privacy and Security Compliance
- Adherence to Data Protection Standards:
- Ensure all ad performance tracking complies with SayPro’s data protection policies and regulations, including those outlined in SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Quarterly Classified Security and Data Protection Management.
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of classified data while collecting and analyzing ad performance metrics.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in Data Analytics or Digital Marketing (preferred).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in ad performance analysis, digital marketing, or SEO (2-3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from large data sets.
- Proficiency in using advertising and analytics platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Working Conditions:
- Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours may be available.
