Job Summary
The SayPro Quarterly Classified Content Management SEO Optimization Specialist is responsible for applying SEO best practices to SayPro’s classified content listings. The goal is to ensure that classified listings are fully optimized for search engines, driving organic traffic and increasing visibility in search results. This role requires technical SEO knowledge, content optimization skills, and analytics expertise to improve ranking performance across SayPro’s classified ad categories.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Optimization of Classified Listings
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing search terms relevant to SayPro’s classified content.
- Optimize titles, descriptions, and metadata for classified listings based on SEO guidelines.
- Ensure that all classified ads include relevant keywords, alt tags for images, and structured data markup to improve search visibility.
- Implement internal linking strategies to connect classified listings with related content on SayPro’s platform.
- Monitor and update URL structures and permalink settings to align with SEO best practices.
2. Content Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) to track and analyze classified content performance.
- Prepare quarterly reports on traffic growth, ranking improvements, and user engagement.
- Identify SEO-related issues (such as duplicate content, keyword cannibalization, or crawl errors) and provide solutions.
- Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark SayPro’s classified SEO performance against industry leaders.
3. Content Strategy and Implementation
- Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office to develop an SEO-friendly content calendar for classified ad categories.
- Suggest content enhancements to make listings more engaging while maintaining SEO integrity.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Optimize classified ads for voice search and mobile-friendliness to capture more organic traffic.
4. Technical SEO and Website Improvements
- Ensure classified pages load quickly by optimizing images and improving technical SEO elements (e.g., Core Web Vitals).
- Work with the SayPro Web Development Team to resolve indexing issues, broken links, and site speed problems.
- Implement schema markup (structured data) to enhance the visibility of classified listings in search engine results pages (SERPs).
- Improve the mobile usability of classified listings to enhance user experience and reduce bounce rates.
5. Collaboration and Training
- Work with the SayPro Marketing Royalty (SCMR) team to align SEO strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Provide quarterly SEO training to SayPro classified content creators on best practices.
- Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure a seamless integration of SEO techniques.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Experience in technical SEO (site audits, structured data, Core Web Vitals, mobile SEO).
- Ability to analyze and interpret SEO performance metrics to guide optimization strategies.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and WordPress SEO plugins (e.g., Rank Math, Yoast SEO).
- Proficiency in using Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
