    Position Overview:

    The employee is responsible for critically analyzing the structure and layout of the SayPro website and its associated classified listings. The main goal is to ensure that the sitemap accurately reflects the website’s information architecture, classified ad categories, and navigation structure to optimize search engine visibility and user accessibility. This includes generating, maintaining, updating, and submitting comprehensive sitemaps monthly, specifically aligned with SayPro Monthly SCMR-5 activities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Website Structural Review:
      • Conduct in-depth reviews of SayPro’s full website structure monthly.
      • Evaluate how classified listings are categorized and interlinked within the site.
      • Identify outdated, orphaned, or duplicated pages or listings.
    2. Sitemap Accuracy & Creation:
      • Create and update XML and HTML sitemaps based on the current classified ad structure and page hierarchy.
      • Ensure sitemap includes all essential URLs: categories, subcategories, individual listings, static pages, blog posts, and contact pages.
    3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
      • Optimize sitemap entries for better crawlability by search engines like Google, Bing, and others.
      • Identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, and 404 pages.
    4. Automation & Tools Usage:
      • Utilize tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and sitemap generators to support accurate analysis.
      • Monitor sitemap submission statuses and address any flagged issues.
    5. Monthly Deliverables:
      • Complete and submit SayPro Monthly Classified Sitemap to the SayPro Marketing Royalty division by the 5th of each month.
      • Provide a sitemap summary report indicating updates, removed links, and newly added pages.
    6. Compliance & Documentation:
      • Ensure that sitemap practices comply with SEO guidelines and web standards.
      • Document all changes made to the sitemap for traceability and auditing purposes.
      • Coordinate with the SayPro Development team to align site updates with the sitemap.
    7. Collaboration & Communication:
      • Collaborate with content creators and classified ad managers to stay informed about structural or content changes.
      • Communicate potential technical issues or inconsistencies to SayPro Web Support and SayPro Marketing Royalty.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding of website architecture and SEO principles
    • Experience with XML/HTML sitemap creation and management
    • Familiarity with CMS systems and classified ad platforms (e.g., WordPress Classifieds)
    • Proficiency in using web audit tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Screaming Frog)
    • Basic understanding of HTML and URL structuring
    • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
