Job Summary:
The Mobile Usability Feedback Monitor will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and addressing user feedback related to touchscreen usability for SayPro Classified’s mobile platforms. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the mobile user experience by ensuring touch-friendly interfaces that provide seamless interactions for users accessing the SayPro Classified system via mobile devices. This role will ensure that any issues identified by users, which may affect their mobile experience, are properly addressed to improve overall usability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Feedback Collection & Analysis:
- Regularly collect feedback from mobile users regarding touchscreen functionality and usability.
- Use various channels (surveys, user reviews, in-app feedback, focus groups, and direct user interaction) to gather detailed insights about user experiences.
- Identify and categorize common pain points users face while interacting with touchscreens, such as difficulty tapping, scrolling, or navigating menus.
- Monitor ongoing feedback trends to ensure that user concerns are addressed proactively.
- Issue Identification and Reporting:
- Analyze feedback data to identify recurring usability issues, with a focus on issues that hinder smooth mobile interactions.
- Prioritize problems based on severity and frequency, ensuring critical issues that significantly affect usability are addressed promptly.
- Create comprehensive reports outlining the issues, their potential impact on user experience, and suggested solutions.
- Collaboration with Development and Design Teams:
- Work closely with the SayPro development and design teams to communicate identified issues and collaborate on solutions.
- Ensure that the mobile platform design remains touch-friendly and is optimized for users of all levels.
- Collaborate with the team to propose enhancements or redesigns of features that may be difficult to use on mobile devices (e.g., buttons, icons, forms, navigation menus).
- Testing and Validation:
- Participate in the testing and validation of any new updates or features released for SayPro Classified mobile applications to ensure that they are touch-friendly and align with user expectations.
- Conduct usability testing with real users to verify that changes made to address feedback are effective in improving the touchscreen interface.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor and assess the mobile interface to ensure ongoing improvements based on user feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in mobile UX/UI design and touchscreen usability.
- Provide suggestions to the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team for potential improvements to mobile usability features, based on feedback analysis.
- Customer Support Liaison:
- Act as a point of contact between users experiencing touchscreen-related issues and the customer support team.
- Provide detailed reports and insights to the support team, helping them address user complaints more effectively.
- Ensure that users feel heard and that their issues are taken seriously, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of all user feedback, issues identified, and solutions implemented.
- Regularly update stakeholders on the status of mobile usability improvements.
- Provide monthly reports on touchscreen usability performance, detailing issues identified, actions taken, and outcomes achieved.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience (UX), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Marketing, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile UX research, user feedback monitoring, or a similar role focused on mobile platforms.
- Experience with mobile usability testing and data analysis.
- Familiarity with user feedback collection tools, surveys, and analytics platforms.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI design principles, particularly for touchscreens.
- Ability to analyze user feedback and identify actionable insights.
- Proficiency in conducting usability testing and compiling feedback reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on improving user experiences.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with mobile development platforms and tools (e.g., Android, iOS, cross-platform frameworks).
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and mobile-responsive design is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position is based in the SayPro Classified Office under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR department. The role may require remote work or flexible hours, depending on the project’s needs.
